White doesn't do Jade any favors, the black skin complements her outfit's green nicely

wdm6789 No, Jade was dark skinned forever and her new face is ugly. She looks awful. I don't understand that MK9 and MK10 she become white and why? I'm displeased.

Considering her Jade Kick/Green Smoke Kick was changed to be like Johnny Cage's recent Shadow Kick, and is now itself called Shadow Kick, plus Johnny/Cassie's green energy shield looking like Jade's projectile immunity move, I'm wondering if they're actually related.

Johnny's decended from Mediterranean cult, bred to fight gods. Maybe he's related to Jade or her family, and partially Edenian?
Maybe Jade's skintone is actually a Mediterranean tan?

She only had light skin in her render from MK9. In the game she still had dark skin.

Yes, but in the game of MK9, you can see two klassic skins from MKII and UMK3 she still had light skin. It's garbage.

My only issue is if Johnny was even partially Edenian, wouldn't he age slower?

Maybe he has to be a centenarian before his physical appearance and cells age slower? Since Shang's work on Erron Black has so far demonstrated that milestone.

It is worth noting that the age of 10,000 is still young in Edenian years. Shang Tsung as we know can become momentarily youthful through magic, but to sustain the process you must have the blood/biology of an Edenian; combined properly, we get Earthrealmers like Erron Black who can remain at his peak physical levels. The Mediterranean cult would not have Shang's magic which he unlocked or Shao Kahn's proficiency in sorcery, the way I rationalise it is that they simply mixed Earthrealm and Edenian bloodlines, no magic involved yet the end result is a condensed green aura. Now I can imagine Johnny Cage as a old man similar to Shujinko or Shang.

Maybe with diluted blood he only gets some magic, and not longevity?
Or at least not as much longevity as a fullblooded Edenian?
His ancestors may've lived longer, and the effect is wearing off down the generations.
