Tyler did say "Many characters sooner than you think; very soon. Very, very soon", and based off that we could even get more than the ones listed above.

I think we'll definitely see the first hint at the game's boss as well.

Johnny Cage is not in MKX. he tweeted a while back about not having a father do a fatality on his daughter when some fan asked about him. im confident that neither Sonya or Johnny are gonna be in MKX(good riddance). which is why theyre using Cassie as a tribute to both of them. hell, she already took half of his moves. it wouldn't make sense. keep dreaming guys.
time for us to do some more brainstorming and figure out the real message behind that cage image.
