I think they DO need to make that game. And release it the same time they release the next REAL mk game. That way all the 10 yr olds that think every character should be a ninja will stop flooding the forums here with complaints about how there's no human smoke with about half of scorpion's moves but is somehow the coolest character ever cause he's gray and smoke comes out of him....

That would also be a copyright violation. Ninja Combat was a game on the Neo-Geo arcade system.

I think we have enough ninjas in Mortal Kombat, however I think there should be more themed warriors from around the world. I liked Kai because he represented a different part of Earthrealm and had the Capiora style at his arsenal of attacks.

I would like to see a Samurai character from Outworld in the next game.

Perhaps we could have an undead Medieval Knight from the Netherealm in Mortal Kombat also.
