Stryker- Riot cop who was the only survivor of a city attacked by Kahn's army during the invasion. After this, Raiden came down to him explaining that he survived because he was one of the chosen fighters to help save Earth. Current whereabouts unknown. Best guess if he survived is he's back on duty as a riot cop.
Sheeva- Bodyguard to Sundel, who planned to turn against Kahn after seeing him give the Centaurs (Motaro's race) preferential treatment over the Shokans. Between MKG and MKDA, she struck a deal with Kano that they would kill Kahn together. Sheeva killed Motaro, but Kano betrayed her, and Shao Kahn killed her.
Rain- One of Kahn's minions, and an Edenian. During the Earth invasion, Kitana tells him about how his father was a great Edenian general. This convinces Rain to turn against Kahn and fight for Edenia. Most likely killed by Kahn, as his own ending tells us he went on a "failed suicide mission" against him.
Fujin- The God of wind, and a friend to Raiden. Before the first tournament, he was one of the Gods guarding Shinnok's amulet, but was defeated by Older Sub Zero. After MK4/MKG, Raiden made Fujin the protector of Earthrealm, and if Raiden failed in MKDA, Fujin was to be the last line of defence for Earth. I guess he's still protecting Earth.
Smoke- Didn't really have a story in MK2. In MK3, he and younger Sub Zero ran away from the Lin Quei as they didn't want to become cyborgs. Smoke was caught and transformed against his will, them ordered to kill Sub Zero, along with Sektor and Cyrax. Smoke ended up in one of Kahn's dungeons after the invasion, deactivated. This is where Noob found him, and took control of the cyborg for himself.
