Sheeva really wasn't a popular character, but I think she could be an interesting comeback. The playable MKD cast really lacked a true powerhouse (unless you count the GC only Kahn+Goro), so Sheeva could easily fit in as a token strong character, since Jax has become a joke, and Jarek and Hsu Hao are one game wonders.

I'd like to see her as a grappler, imagine a four armed Shokan with wrestling/sambo style attacks. Just not sure what they would do with her story wise though.

Stryker is near the top of my list for most wanted comebacks. I always loved how he was just a normal guy caught up in it all, fighting with weapons rather than powers. Rain I'm really not bothered about, but I guess they could give him an MKD style makeover, like many classics got.

I never cared about Sheeva. Aside from being the only female Shokan(so far) there was nothing I found interesting or unique about her. I think they should leave her dead.
If they bring back another Shokan, I'd rather it be Kintaro.

I'd like to see Rain get a second chance. I think he could be cool witha good revamp.
Stryker I don't really care about.

i sorta like sheeva back then. but a lot of people didnt find her very exciting so i doubt that she will return.

I actually liked Sheeva in MK3 and MKT. It was a fairly good concept to bring in a female Shokan, and her story was actually very good.

I was disappointed when she was killed off, but like others said, she wasn't very popular. She was even so unpopular that she didn't have a talking part in MK:D's Konquest mode lol she was only lying dead in a house.

My main problem now is that she is Dead. Ressurection stories are getting a bit old and stale. I doubt we will be seeing Sheeva back agian, though, like any character, given the story and moves, they could pull it off.

I don't want to see Rain come back. For me, he was one palette swap too many. We have enough of the ninjas back now, and they have made them all unique at last. I just dont see Rain's story going anywhere.

Im not fussed about Stryker. Again, a generally disliked character, but I think he could redeem himself. Nothing has really been said about him since MK3/UMK3/MKT so it would be interesting to see what they would do with him if he were to return.

I never liked Sheeva. She is ugly gross and annoying. I think she will stay dead. Nobody likes her enough anyway. Her death in Konquest also emphasises this.

Same with Stryker. He shouldn't return. He literally has no fans. Right now he is sitting on a couch munching on donuts.

I kinda do miss Rain though. But I think he has been permanantly been killed off. There are too many clues about his death.
- His MKT ending reveals that he committed suicide.
- There was a code (forgot it damn) in UMK3 that said "Rain can be found in the graveyard" if you did it.
- Jade kills him off in Konquest.
So therefore Rain is dead.

If someone classic needs to return then it has to be Sektor.

honestly i kinda liked Sheeva in MK3. actually she is the only char taht was new in MK3 that i liked besides Sektor. still i didnt play with her that much in MK3. only from time to time when i wanted to take a break from my regulare chars (Liu Kang, Reptile, Sub-Zero, and Sektor) just like ive always done like in MK 2 (like play with Scorpion, Baraka, and Raiden here and there to take a break from my regulare chars). anyways then came UMK3 wich she wasnt in cuz at that time she was the least populare char in MK3. and then in MKDA she ends up getting killed by Shao Kahn.

so would i like to see her return in MK7? i can do with out her but id much rather have her come back rather than some one like Stryker or Jax being in there to name a couple chars. but still i wouldnt miss her. but this could be a very good time for har to come back some how and go after Shao Kahn. well thats if Kahn will be in MK7 (hopefully as the boss and not playable). it would be interesting to see how Goro would react if he would stick with Kahn and help him against Sheeva or if he would step aside or even help Sheeva. im just thinking this could be a good time for her to return. still i wouldnt miss her if she doesnt make it in MK7.

Sheeva was kiiled by Shao Kahn so it will be kinda stupid to bring her back. Midway would have to make up for her a new storyline.

I would love to see Sheeva back. I always thought she had optential being selectable again. If Midway can make a good story for her, and give her some pretty sick combos and moves, I would love to see her again in MK7.

i think sheeva was a great character , she had potential and she was the first playable shokan which in my opinion was awesome

i think they could say she survived the attack from shao kahn and is back for revenge and maybe joins wit goro or whatever

i would also like to see stryker they could tie his storyline into the OIA (outworld investigation agency) with sonya , jax , cyrax and kenshi , i think it has potential

also i would like to see rain (from memory he was once the king of edenia) they could play that storyline maybe trying to take edenia back for shao kahn or maybe even become good etc

basically i dont think there is a character i hate except MOKAP!!!!!
i think there are better characters than others but are all good in my opinion

I liked Sheeva and wouldent mind seeing her return as long as it was explained well and not some gay ressurections story or something, she had some decent moves and fatalities, and her story was pretty good. Plus ive always liked the Shokan's and too have a playable one was pretty cool when i first found out. But i do agree that if they bring back a Shokan it should be Kintaro, he despretly needs a comeback, though i heard that Boon hates him because they wanted his original tiger concept but couldent pull it off.

As for Rain and Stryker, no thanks to either, i could really care less about these characters. Id rather have them then a character like Jarek of coarse, but there are many more deserving characters who could take there spot.

I totally agree with you. She didn't really have too much to her storyline and there was nothing about her that gave her any real potential for a return. I'm glad that she was killed off and despite Vogel's words about no one ever truly dying in MK, I hope she'll stay dead. Kintaro would be interesting to see

As for Rain, I think he has quite a bit of potential in his storyline. His storyline could go in a similar path as Ermac's with the storyline of redemption for past acts of evil. With Shao Kahn still being alive, I'm sure Rain will want to try to destroy him, that is if that little bit in Rain's MKT ending is true in which he learns about the death of his father at the hands of Kahn.

And when it comes to Stryker, maybe he does have some sign of potential. Then again, I never really liked him, and I don't really want to see him return.

I'd rather see the return of characters like Khameleon and Sareena.

I miss her. Lots of people hated her, but I thought she was...kinda hot. If they make her independent in terms of storyline, give her some cool costumes, and give her effective fighting styles she could own.

anyways how would Sheeva be gameplay wise? if they keep the 3 styles system (hope to god they dont) then the 3 styles Goro has in MKD would all fit her as well. actually every move Goro has in MKD would fit Sheeva except for that one spinning special Goro has. instead replace that with the jumping earthquake move she has in MK3. but the fire ball Goro has in MKD he does the same way as Sheeva does it. and the teleport stomp Sheeva had and Goro has in MKD. so since they r actually so alike, my guess is Sheeva gameplay wise would end up being very similare to Goro in MKD/MK7 (i believe Goro will be in MK7).

now if they change the fighting engine like they should down to like 1 in-depth style (maybe 2 if they can make 2 in-depth styles) then i dont think we would have to worry about Sheeva being just like, or very similare to Goro in MKD. who knows? maybe then she will have some good comboes? no way she is gonna have good combos witht hte 3 styles fighting engine they got now....
