Yes, Li Mei should definetely come back. She has really developed from MKDA to MKD, and I'd like to see her trying to get rid of the evil inside her for MK7. She shouldn't ever turn fully evil, like in her MKD ending. Li Mei is a kind of naive, inexperienced fighter, which you don't really see in MK, and this can be used to develop her storyline much further.

Maybe as a Li Mei fan I'm being biased, but I'd like to see her become one of the main heroic characters sometime. She should also have an Orientail kung fu style outfit like in MKDA. The red one in her concept art was really cool.

I'd like to see her sit out MK7. I believe she is a good character but is due for a rest. Leaving characters out often makes them better when they return. Eg Ermac

She has a story linked to the DK so it depends on what happens to him.

I like her story and how she's been turned evil against her will. Her ending sadly, most likely will not happen, but her overall story makes her very interesting. They improved her greatly in MKD from the mess she was in MKDA. She should definitely return.

Well, that's true with Ermac. I would've liked to have played with him in MK4/5, but the way he looks now is most definitely worth such a wait.

Yes, I'd definitely love to see Li Mei come back. They improved her quite a bit in MKD with the look, storyline, and gameplay. I think she should really continue that transition to the side of evil in MK7 or maybe she'll come across Onaga along with some of the other heroes and turn against them. Either way, I'd love to see her again.

I think she should keep the alternate costume look she had in MKD. And her other costume should be that one costume from the MKDA concept like red_dragon mentioned.

She kinda reminds me of that Ever Quest game.

Li Mei should come back, she's quickly become my favorite character since DA and I think I'd be kind of upset if she were to be left out.

I wouldn't mind Li Mei coming back. I hated her in MK:DA, but she improved in every way for me in Deception.
I like her as an innocent character being turned evil against her will. I would rather they keep that aspect of her character and not have her turn fully evil....yet anyway. On the other hand, there aren't really enough female villains, so she could work that way too I suppose. S
So either way I wouldn't mind Li Mei returning.

I wouldn't mind if she returned, I like how she plays and feels, and her first outfit in MKD is great. She also has nice specials.

Whether or not she will come back will depend on the MK team: will they decide to continue their current course (let the new characters develop and gradually replace the old cast) or will they revert back to the oldies? I'm actually hoping for a blend of the two.

yes i think li mei deserves to be in the next installment and wit her mkd alternate except not such a dark purple and the silver mid section should be replaced with like purpl or pink she shuld kind of be brite pink lie in her ending

It's not really fair to label Li Mei a full blown traitor. It wasn't as if it was her choice to turn against everybody in her ending. It was completely beyond her control and once she got too close she was just helplessly drawn to aid Onaga. Honestly Bo Rai Cho should have known better than to bring her to help fight Onaga but who knows, maybe he did. Her ending could be completely scrapped and she could still be rolling with Bo Rai Cho and the others.

It's too early to say for sure considering the MK team almost never follows an ending all the way, if at all. I really hope she stays on the side of good personally because I just don't find the idea of Li Mei being evil a likeable one.
