There was much talk about her on gameboy advanced I think, you could unlock her there, but I really think shes a good looking character, and she could be a great addition to the MK world. Any thoughts?

I liked the Sereena character alot. I rented MKM: SZ on the N64. Of course the N64 version didn't have FMV like its PS1 counterpart I like the character Sereena a lot. Even though I couldn't hear or see her interact with Sub-Zero I got what her character was liked. Her story was interesting enough in MK: DA on GBA. She could easily be a cool character to have in any MK game. Of course the MK team should bring her in if they can give her a good story, something that most new characters IMO didn't have in Deception.

Sareena is a character with a cool look and a lot of potential... she is also a good 'new' character to create , I would definitely like to see her in an upcoming MK game

Yeah. I always liked Sareena and thought she was intriguing. She should definitly be in the next game. She's out of the Netherealm and has connections to Noob Saibot, Quan Chi, Sub-Zero, and Ashrah.
I hope she'll be a good/neutral character though. I think she has more potential that way.

I agree.

IMO Sareena is a must for MK7.

Yes Sareena is a very good character with much story line potential. It was hinted that she liked Sub-Zero, but she was banished to a lower area of the Netherealm. So when he died at the hands of Scorpion, she would have no knowledge he became Noob Saibot.

So then we would have a confrontation between Noob Saibot, Sub-Zero, and Sareena. Which side would she take? Then If Quan Chi survived the ordeal with Onaga he could be looking for her, while trying to keep from Scorpion. And what about Scorpion? Didn't Noob and he kill each other at one time? So what tension would that bring if they ever met again?

Like I said, Sareena has much story line potential, but I hope they give her some origionality when it comes to her fighting styles. I don't want to see her with a bunch of recyled fighting, like they did with almost every character in MKD. Even though you could expect the martial art to be used by more than on person.

Mabey someone can help me out here, I know who Sareena is i just dont know 'who or what' she is, whats her motives? whats your story? And besides all of that, apparently she was only involved as a playable character in MK TE i guess, so obviously she should be in MK 7, i also dont like when Midway makes up all these characters just to kill them off in their debut game.

Sareena is definitely someone who needs to be in MK7. I didn't think much of her as a character until reading her full story and I have to say she has one of the best stories in MK. She has so much potential and could be evil, neutral or good. She's been set up to have her story continue in a number of interesting ways, so I hope the full potential of her story and character is exploited.

Well, Sareena is a Netherealm Demon who Served Quan Chi. She firs appeared in MKMythologies Sub Zero, as an assassin of Quan Chi's, along with Kia and Jataaka. Im not sure exactly how the story went as I never played MKM:SZ, but basically, Sareena helped Sub Zero (The Original Sub Zero) escape the Netherrealm, but in she lost her human form, and descended into the 5th plane of the netherrealm.
IN MK:TE her story was that she managed to find an abandoned portal in the Netherrealm, which lead to Outwrold. From there, she could feed off of the mortals to regain her human form. She then left the Netherrealm, as she had regained her human form and no logner needed Quan Chi's sorcery to keep herself human. She encountered Sub Zero (younger one) and he gave her sanctuary in the Lin Keui temple, I suppose, as a return for helpin his brother many years ago.

Sareena is a MUST for Mk7. her story has so much potential. She was banished from the Brotherhood of Shadows, and this gives her many possibilites to be both a good and evil character. Also her ruthless evil Netherrealm side makes her mysterious and bit untrustworthy. Interseting.
She has ties with Noob Saibot and Sub Zero, but also I think she could tie in nicely with Ashrah and Reiko.

Yes!

She has HUGE story potential. Like Noob-Saibot and Sektor, she was included in the Gameboy of MKDA. Her inclusion could very well mean that we will see more of her in a future Mk. She was even in the Krypt of MKD. My guess is that the team has future plans for the demon.

Sareena can cause so many twists with so many stories, her relation with Sub-Zero, with Ashrah, with Frost, with Quan Chi, even with Sektor....There is so much that can be done with Sareena.

Also, lets not forget her role as a member of the Brotherhood of the Shadow clan, she hates the clan, yet she works for it. She also has close relations with Shinnok and even the original Sub-Zero (Noob-Saibot). In MKTE we discover that she had freed Sub-Zeros older brother many years ago, and that fact ties perfectly with Noob Saibots ending and storyline in MKD.

There is more to Sareena then what meets the eye. We will see more of her.

Sareena has great story potential in the Mortal Kombat games due to the true identity of Noob Saibot. Sareena's involvement in the newly formed struggle between the two brothers Sub-Zero and Noob Saibot could be very interesting.

If you did not know, in Sareena's most recent appearence it stated that she seeked salvage under the Lin Kuei from Quan Chi. And her history with the original Sub-Zero could have her internaly conflicted to choose a side. Will she help her old ally or will she help the more recent one?

Another thing is, she would be an outside character in this story right next to Scorpion. Both were from the Netherealm so do you think their paths will cross aswell?

Sareena should definatley be included in the next Mortal Kombat game, and the whole Noob Saibot story is a great new step in developing some real good stories for a group of characters featured in Mortal Kombat.
