Everything I read seems to point to march 1st for triborg and kp2 which coincides with the XL version of the game which really sucks balls. After my disgust and dissapointment with the kp2 reveal trailer I have finally come around to feel some level of hype for triborg and after seeing the kombat last of him I am dying to play as him thinking he will be released in a week or so after it but now it looks like we will have to wait another 6 weeks.......... NRS are just the shittest at marketing why would they hype everyone up with this awesome charcater only to say 6 more weeks?

Has anyone heard anything to the contrary about triborgs release? I really hope he's out earlier then March it really sucks for those chumps like me who preordered the original game, brought the first shitty KP and other content and now we have to wait until an ultimate edition (which is much cheaper then the original game) is released to get these last charcaters feels like a real slap in the face!

There will be new Skins together? Who knows Klassic Skins? In KP 1 had an unreleased Skins package for character and one entirely Pack.

It's indeed March 1'st for everything; MKXL, XL upgrade and KP2 as a whole.

The characters are part of the upgrade as a whole. Think Streetfighter IV vs Super Street Fighter IV. Why would NRS roll out 5 different updates over the coarse of six weeks when they can just release one update and be done with it.

Yeah you're right why would they give anything to the loyal fans who purchased the game a year ago when they can just drop it all off in one big package. Think I am going to wait for the komete edition myself for the next game they release no bonuses for buying early I see.

Thanks, but it worries me more tbh, like, are those skins going to be included with XL or what? Wish they would just give us a definitive list.

I am thinking they have to be with XL otherwise it would be false advertising. We have not seen all the skins for XL anyway.

Probably just stuff they're gonna release in the KP2 package. They're just showing it all off in screenshots for MKXL like they did for the trailer. Just something new to show off.

That's definitely a new skin for Jacqui. It could be a new skin for Leatherface or it could be a variation change. Nice find though. Means that there's probably new skins they haven't shown yet.

EDIT: Just went back and checked footage of Leatherface on YouTube. That's his "Dinner wear" variation with the makeup shown in KP2 gameplay trailer. Probably no costumes for DLC characters.

You're sitting here complaining that it will be at least 6 more weeks before you can play as Tri-borg because he's being released with everything else when MKXL drops, and then saying how NRS sucks for it.

The hype is real - that is exactly what they're intending. You won't stop wanting Tri-borg, and over the next 6 weeks, you will get more and more hyped.

Not ragging on you, don't take my statement the wrong way. I'm pointing out that your statement is exactly what NRS is looking for with this.

I totally agree! Jacqui is probably my least used character next to Cassie but that skin makes me want to play her. It's awesome.

That's the proof of great interest when you release alternative costume that ACTUALLY FIT the characters and their personality. Yeah, I'm talking to you Brazil Pack and Cosplay pack.
