I would like to see Fujin going against Raiden for the big showdown.

Sub-Zero + Scorpion VS Noob + Smoke

*SPOILERS!*





I like most of those fights, but most are NOT Final Show Down type fights.

Scorp + Sub vs Noob + Smoke would work for several reason. Scorpion hates the original Sub-Zero..which is(i warned you for spoiler) Noob Saibot, and Sub probably wants to destroy his brother and save the goodness that still resides within Smoke. Obviously Noob would also want revenge for being killed my Scorpion years back. So this would be a great fight, but not a game ending/opening cinema for MK8 kind of fight. It's more of a fight for the fans. Anice little side fight that will help the story, but won't be the main focal point, because as much as fans love Scorpion and Sub-Zero, they were NEVER the main character in ANY of the MAIN games they were in. Perhaps they could be, however.

Fujin and Raiden would be an AWESOME fight, and since we're talking about fights. I think it would be SOOOO cool if they had cinemas of these epic battles, and all endings in general. But anyway, this fight kinda does lean more towards a final showdown type of fight, but two things id like to point out.

1. In my opinion, we haven't seen enough of Fujin for him to be in a big fight like that. Unless they develop his story like crazy for MK7(which I highly doubt), then he doesn't have that "main hero" type aura that Liu Kang or Raiden posesses.

2. I don't think Raiden is going to be an absolute bad guy. I think he is just more stern and ruthless, which is probably for the better of the Earthrealm anyway. Imagine if you fucked up as bad as Shujinko and you asked your principal for mercy, would he grant it? No, he wouldn't. Your ass would probably get expelled or suspended, and he's doing it for the better of earthrealm/the school. However, perhaps Raiden is under going a change. Perhaps this is EXACTLY how Shinnok was before he turned evil. Perhaps it went from nice guy to a ruthless leader to an all around evil being. Who knows? I can't imagine Raiden being evil, but who knows? I'd welcome change to the thunder god.

Liu Kang vs Shao Kahn..well, im not saying this fight shouldn't happen, but it should not be the main focal point. It, like Sub/Scorp vs Noob/Smoke should be a side story. I, as a fan of the series for longer than I can remember, would feel SUPER cheated if they recycle the final showdown from MK2 again. Liu Kang should not be involved in the final showdown unless it's a collaborative effort with liu kang and other earthrealm warriors vs the main bad guy. Also, it'd be wise of Midway to not make Kahn the main bad guy again. So while I like this idea, it's definetly not final showdown material.

As for my ideas for the final fight? Liu Kang and the earthrealm warriors vs The One Being(the battle to end all battles and would be an awesome cliffhanger for MK8), or Raiden vs The One Being(Raiden sides with the one being halfway through the fight and gets absorbed into the one being, making the one being even more powerful)

by the way i love the idea of Liu Kang vs Raiden. That fight would be so fucking awesome! I think either the fight should end with Liu Kang killing Raiden for good..which could go about like this.


1. Liu Kang kills raiden, but it hurt him to do so since Raiden has been a mentor to him and all the other earthrealm warriors, but the dark force(or perhaps the one being?) has overcome Raiden.

2. Liu Kang is fighting Raiden and Raiden gets the upperhand, but right before Raiden is about to kill Liu Kang his eyes stop glowing red and glow blue again, and the good in him returns. He then realize the error in his ways and either vanquishes himself from earthrealm to the netherealm(or back to heaven), or tells Liu Kang to kill him.

or the safe way(which would keep Raiden fanboys happy) would have Raiden either kill Liu Kang(I don't support this idea) or have Liu and Raiden fight while the other warriors fight the main enemy(whoever he is..probably the one being), and once the main enemy(most likely the one being) is destroyed Raiden is no longer overcome with evil and turns back to his good old self.

I wanna see Liu vs. Shao vs. Shang Tsung since no body really dies in MK. I want Liu to win, then I want Scorpion to kill both young and old sub, and I would love to see Movado vs. Kabal even though that probably wouldn't be the big story plot. Just my opinion.

free for all battle with every kombatant. could be a non-canon vid playing behind the main menu. it starts out Nightwolf gets on top of a mountain and howls, characters flood in from all sides and are fended off by tomahawks. Shao Kahn comes out of nowhere and blows him away with his hammer. Shao begins to look like Sauron as he knocks people hundreds of feet in the air. Sonya grabs him with her legs and throws him off the mountain. Jax comes in to defend her as Reptile attacks him, he slams the lizard down and ground-pounds his head. splat. Sonya and Jax are slamming people left and right when Reiko shurikens Jax in the chest and jump-punches Sonya. Meat attacks Reiko, but he counters with wicked combos, then grabs the skeleton by the wrists and super crush kicks him to peices. Meat's bones go flying, but boomarang and synchronizedly combo the living crap out of poor Reiko. Nitara obliterates Meat into dust with a blast of dark magic. Goro smashes her from behind and she plummets off the mountain. the camera closely follows her as she falls and just before she hits the spikes at the bottm of a fog, she pulls up and flies above the mountain as the fmv starts over again.

Kung Lao versus Goro would also be an interesting fight in this new Mortal Kombat game.

Though Goro and Kung Lao have made their peace in the past with the aid of Kitana. Kung Lao and Goro still have a score to settle due to their interrupted encounter during Mortal Kombat Gold.

With Goro's story in the new Game Cube version of Mortal Kombat Deception, it is clearly stated that he is on Shao Kahn's side whom is a sworn enemy to Kung Lao. I believe that the Shokan Prince and the Shaolin Monk would be a perfect match for each other when the Outworld and Earthrealm clash in battle yet again.

I don't know about final showdowns, but I want to see some hardcore rivalry and fighting between these following characters:


Sektor VS Sub-Zero - Perhaps this match actually could be a huge showdown. Now that Sektor has his own army and is more powerful, it would be great to see a show down between the 2 because Sub-Zero has also gotten alot more powerful. Both there stories need to start involving one another alot now, especially in MK7.

Scorpion VS Noob Saibot a.k.a. Classic Sub-Zero - I cant wait for this. I got a feeling this could turn out to be one of the best stories in MK. I can't wait to see how Scorpion reacts when Sub-Zero runs into him, and vice versa.

Goro VS Baraka - This could get crazy. Since Shao Kahn is allied with Goro and wants revenge on Baraka, there could be war between the Shokans and Tarkatans. This could be another great fued because everyone knows how strong Goro is, and Baraka is a huge favourite that has gotten alot more powerful/respectful in MK7, especially after being a general for Onaga.

Shao Kahn VS Onaga - I want to see war between these 2. It seems like Kahn would do anything to gain back the respect and power he once had. After allying himself with the Shokans, I'm excited to see an all-out war between them.

Kitana VS Mileena - This needs to unfold more, and I got a great feeling it will. It seems like Mileena is doing a great job pretending to be Kitana at times.

Mavado VS Kabal - I want to see Kabal PWN him. Now that Kabal is running the Black Dragon, there should be a fued with them and the Red Dragon.

Liu Kang VS Raiden - Like many already said......it would just be awesome.

Sub-Zero VS Sub-Zero I'd call this fued "The Blood Fued" or "The Vendetta". If the younger Sub-Zero knew his older brother returned, I wonder what he would do. Perhaps the older Sub-Zero will try want to kill him and take over the Lin Kuei; make them the killing asassins they once were.

Rain VS Shao Kahn - I want to see Rain return and sacrifice himself for Kitana. I want to see him prove his loyalty to again by going after Shao Kahn, because i'm sure Rain is ashamed of what he did and how he betrayed his edenian people.

Shao Kahn VS The Deadly Alliance - I so badly wanna see Kahn pulversize these 2. I hope he puts Shang Tsung and Quan Chi on the run for there lives, and hopefully Kahn becomes a huge threat for them in there stories.

Reptile VS Nitara - I'm sure Reptile would want revenge on her, seeing as she backstabbed him.

Kung Lao VS Baraka - I don't think Kung Lao did much after Baraka and his Tarkata hordes attacked his people. Kung Lao should be filled with rage and revenge, he should be wanting to put an end to Baraka. I want to see a big fight between these 2.

Frost VS Sareena - Perhaps Sareena also wants to get more powerful by trying to snatch Sub-Zero's medallion. Both Frost and Sareena would want it, and they would find out that one another wants it, which means both of them will try and kill each other before one of them gets it.

Kung Lao VS Shang Tsung - Shang Tsung delivered the final attack on Liu Kang that killed him. Hopefully Kung Lao gets his revenge of Shang Tsung.

Ermac VS Kenshi - IMO Ermac should be neutral, not good. But anyways, IMO a good story for Ermac would be all of his souls fighting for control over his(or should i say "the") body. Perhaps some of his souls are evil, which means Ermacs alignment would change time to time. This would make him very decieving and dangerous because Kenshi and others wouldn't know what side he's on and who's controling him with there own evil intentions. A teleknetic battle between the 2 would be sweet.

Drahmin VS Quan Chi - I hope to see Drahmin ally himself with Shao Kahn. Shao Kahn would promise to return him human if he sided with him and went to capture Quan Chi for him. Even though Drahmin already wants to destroy Quan Chi, seeing him side with Kahn would be bad ass.

Baraka VS Mileena - Mileena would do anything to rule edenia.....I guess even if that means killing her all-time lover Baraka. Judging by there stories in MKD, you can tell they don't really feel for each other anymore. Baraka could care less about her and vice versa. I wanna see a bitter rivalry between them, and hopefully a showdown.

Hotaru VS Dairou - A samurai showdown. It would be awesome.

Mileena VS Tanya - Both want to kill Kitana, but who wants to be the first and only? I see them battling each other for who gets to kill Kitana.

Goro VS Kung Lao - Seems like Goro will betray Kitana, and Kung Lao is friends with her. I'm sure Kung lao will side with Kitana and go against Goro.

Jade VS Tanya - Tanya needs to get passed Jade if she wants to get at Kitana.

Shao Kahn VS Kitana - Now that she knows Kahn is still alive, I'm sure she would do anything to stop him from conquering realms again. She would want pure revenge on him for what he did to her and how he has made her suffer for years.

Shao Kahn VS Sindel - Same as Kitana.

Fujin VS Raiden - This would be a great fued, especially if Raiden is Dark Raiden.

Reptile VS The Deadly Alliance - If Reptile is still on Kahns side, I want to see him make the Deadly Alliance suffer.


Any of these showdowns/fights would be great to see IMO.

SHANG TSUNG vs. SHAO KAHN alone! remeber, Shao Kahn kept him on a strick rule and on a short leash, ....he had his reasons.

Besides, Shang tsung is the second powerfullest being in Outworld. Only Quan Chi has more magical potential, but lacks the fighting provess what Tsung has. But if the DA was to be remade, then all bosses should quake.
