... is only a month away. What if NRS decided to put on an elaborate hoax and create a full-on reveal trailer for a joke character?


I vote for Zebron.


The trailer opens with Cassie Cage encountering Zebron in the Kuatan Jungle stage.

Cassie: "What is this, some kind of joke?"
Zebron: *straightens his bow tie and twirls his cane* "No one makes a fool of the magnificent Zebron!"
Cassie: "Aww, why the long face?"

We then see a montage of Zebron fighting several characters in different stages, showcasing his three Variations:

• White With Black Stripes: His black stripes "glow" and he can use Noob's shadow magic.

• Black With White Stripes: His white stripes glow and he can use Ashrah's light magic.

• Shades of Grey: A submissions style involving chokeholds, ropes, and vicious spankings that leave the opponent emotionally broken but strangely titillated.

The trailer ends with a Fatality, where he wraps a rope around Torr's neck, climbs on his back, and rides him until he dies.

Why are Rain fans always the butt of jokes on behalf of NRS?

If you look at the Rain confirmed thread I was one of the first responders.

I still don't there is enough evidence to support a full on confirmation.

Though i'm not here to derail this thread, this exact thing has been discussed to death on that thread.

I truly hope he is playable for the sake of all Rain fan's sanity.

Still think Rain is an early running April fools joke though.

Him and Nimbus Terrafaux are pretty much the only 2 legend characters that haven't been actually made.

Them and Chrome... but Chrome was too forced by NRS... it doesn't work if they force it.

I hope Fujin, Reiko, Tremor or Tanya or all of them is the April Fools joke. Zebron would be rather obvious.

Fujin shouldn't be too difficult. Just pull a Snake in MGS2 (when his model was used to hide Raiden's existence) and "disguise" the characters he's copied in the past (Ermac and Kung Lao) as him, and make changes to their special moves' animations so they appear more windy.

Hahaha I love this thread, as much as I don't think Zebron will have any mention, we all know Boon and something will be going on. Though he knows we know him, so if he's quiet it'll blow my mind and wonder what's up.

April reveal?

Ed Boon will announce that he put the entire MKX game into the recycle bin. MKX is cancelled and will be replaced with "Mortal Kombat Mythologies : Tanya".

This adventure game will inklude new kharakters such as Kristine : Kassandra's daughter. Kristine's grandmother Sonya Blade will also appear as a powerful, futuristik cyborg ninja.

Tanya will keep Liu Kang imprisoned in a cave permanently, in this game.

Sailor Moon, Sailor Mars, Sailor Venus, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Mercury will all be DLC kharakters.

Actually, that should be in a LEGIT Hornbuckle trailer, if one ever happens.

We know MK is going to a darker note, but a little humor never hurt. Besides, it's Cassie who's saying it, and she's the daughter of the comic relief last game. Main Character or not, humor is going to be her thing...

They should make a DLC pack for all of the Hoax characters

19.99 dollars, 299.99 fracs/euros 19,000,000 pecos is a fair price for all of the characters
