Nothing for me.

Character reveals and game-play gets me hyped for MKX.

Oh I forgot to add: unique blocking animations. Fuck yeah

- The way the snow falls in Snow Forest

- How the water flows downstream in Jungle

- The way light reflects off the water in Kove

- The lighting in general is great

- NRS has gone bonkers with particle effects

- Most of the returning characters have their VAs from the last game, I love the consistency

- The idea of pre-fight dialogue between ALL match-ups, including mirror matches

Just the fact that we are getting a new MK soon gets me hyped as fuck

Most of the characters will have their own unique blocking animation.

The small details on characters' outfits that they don't necessary use (i.e. Sub-Zero's arm daggers)

Throughout the fight, characters will be doused in their own sweat.

Environment features (snow, water)

Characters will be able to identify their mirror selves and react towards that.

Makes me glad Drahmin won't be in this.

Kidding aside, the flowing-water effect looks amazing. The backdrops so far are the best seen in any MK installment yet.

its always the small stuff for me that gets me hyped about a game

-small details in fatalities (ie the flames in Kano's fatality)

-Aesthetic changes in the variations

List can go on and on but you get the idea

I'm glad taunts are confirmed, even if it's for select characters.

Also, that sound design. Crunchy and thick, like applewood smoked bacon.

Nothing for me. I'm still worried that the Variation concept will break the game entirely.

The attention to detail in this game makes it all the more interesting and beautiful.

The new art design is superb. The old one in MKDA and MKD was also neat, thank you Herman Sanches wherever you are.


the idea of a generational change of moving forward.

The pre-fight intros. Characterization is really important to me, sometimes with MK I feel like we have 20 year old characters and know nothing about their personalities except for very basic things like that they're cocky or brash or whatever. It's nice to see characters have small conversations.

Everything. Storymode, gameplay, my favorite characters. Whenever a new MK game is announced and we are slowly getting info the hype is real!

-The Select Screen is outstanding. I love that there are animated intros while picking the characters. This really gets me hyped to play MKX; the select screen has always subtly been one of my favorite things about Mortal Kombat.

-The characters move sets seem extremely fitting. Raiden now punches with a shock of electricity infused with it. Which is just so fitting for a thunder god. It doesnt add anything gameplay-wise but visually it is compelling.

The detail in Scorpion's costume. You see the threads in the yellow of the costume. It looks awesome.

Sub-Zero was my favourite for a time when he was in Raiden's flashback.

Now it makes sense that you are generally responding negatively to my posts...

Most people do, the fact that he likes Scorpion and you don't doesn't inherently mean he's obligated to disagree with you. Its just that most people like Scorpion and most people disagree with you, supposing a correlation between the two would be fallacious

I've noticed a pattern though... If a Scorpion fan catches me rant against Scorpion, which happens now and then, then whatever I may post about in the future is usually also met with negativity, even if it has nothing to do with Scorpion.
