When I read this on Kotaku there seemed to be malice and with the latest spate of "celebs" and tattoo artists suing developers (Lohan suing Rockstar) kinda thought she was going to sue.

But seeing as thats not the case. Its cool.

Not convinced its an exact copy, Cassie has definitely got her nose though.

No she sued them, because she believed the developers mocked up a whole anatomic model of her. She was hired to lend her likeness to the game, but hackers/modders found full on nude model in the game's assets.:

As for the Cassie Cage/Felice Herrig, I can see similarities in the nose, lips and jawline, I still think it's a stretch to say she was the basis for Cassie cage though.


She didn't sue anybody. (Certainly not Naughty Dog, because they didn't even make Beyond 2 Souls. That would be Quantic Dream.)

I don't see that much of a resemblance but she seems cool about it.

This reminds me of Lindsay Lohan who tried to sue Rockstar over the generic Bikini girl that appears on the load screen, who did not look ginger or look like she injects Marijuanas.

I do and I don't at the same time. Structuring the photos similarly just makes the settings look the same, tricking you into seeing them as the same. The hair kind of throws me, it frames the face differently. I see a good similarity in the jaw-line, but not so much the upper portions of the face. Their eyes, cheeks, and forehead are way different, and not to insult that lady, but Cassie's features are all a bit more feminine.

To be fair the pictures are a bit to close to be a coincidence. If NRS have done this without permission that's bad form. Also someone on here claims they used his Tanya concept in Goros ending. Again, looks far to similar to have not been copied.

Apparently it came up again after she saw the selfie fatality. Apparently she takes a lot of selfies. If it goes anywhere, I'm sure we'll cover it, but for now there's not much more to the story. Cassie Cage is a millennial punk. Millennial punks take selfies. If you're gonna have a fighter like that in your game, you might as well get something inventive out of it. NRS did it.
