I think he is crushing the skull, like Jax's head smash fatality but in slow motion.

The feeling I got from it is that he was ripping the head in half.

To me it looks like he is going to squeeze it until it explodes. Idk if they edited the sound to throw us off but after the screen goes black you can still hear and to me it sounds like it either gets crushed or simply ripped off.

I think Reptile grabs his face and is like oh shit, oh shit I went too far and tries to keep the acid out of his mouth so he can breathe and calls an ambulance on his cell and Kung Lao gets rushed to the hospital and later appears on I Survived after his facial reconstructive surgery where he says even though hes blind and lost most of his senses he's found a new inspiration for life in warning troubled teens to maybe not fight to the death and publicly forgives Reptile.

It'll be a really long, emotional roller coaster of a fatality.
