Dude. I would love cyrax to be part of this beautifully dark and gritty MK.

That's a pretty nice render of Cyrax. I'd be all for him if they tone down his resets. If you include Cyrax though doesn't that mean you're obligated to include Sektor?

Not necessarily. Many characters are "fighting" for a place in the roster taking into account that it looks we'll have a 24 char roster and the amount of new guys will be quite high (7 at least). Of course this is pure speculation, but in my opinion we will have only one cyborg, and although it would be cool to have Cyrax in the good side, it would be even better to include Sektor for one sole reason: "Grandmaster" Sub-Zero.

It's highly likely but not necessarily, like in DA. I mean his motivations could be related to making up for the crimes he committed while being controlled. Also, we don't know what happened to the Lin kuei clan after Shao Khan's death and during these 25 years, maybe it was reformed or maybe it's no more.

There was that Ed Boon's tweet about Ketshup and Mustard though, so you never know.

Didn't Boon deconfirm him in his "missed the bus" tweet in like August? Or have I missed something? Would love if he somehow made it in the game as he's one of my favorites. I mained him in MK9. But yeah I thought he was one of the few characters that Boon flat out shot down.

I have a feeling it is going to be an ultimate cyborg with the abilities of Cyrax and Sektor all together. It makes the most sense to me of this happening.

I was always more of a Sektor fan.

I'm sure he is in homie ;) Cyrax is mainstream since MK3, so no doubt!

My money is on Sektor killing an incorporating Cyrax's technology.

Wouldn't that result in Sector becoming as strong as Cyber-Smoke or Sindel. Plus will he be designed to be big due to the inclusion of the bulky tech? He may already have access to the clan's medallion for all we know.

I like Sektor a lot too I just think Cyrax has more possibility for development. Bad guys tend to get the short end of the stick in that department.

I've got tons of love for Cyrax. He's been my favorite since UMK3. I think he has a fair chance of making it in, he is one of the survivors after all.

I want Cyrax in for sure. i've always preferred him over Sektor anyway (even though Sektor was bad ass in MK9) After his MK9 ending i definitely would like for him to be in the side of good. Story mode contradicts his alliance but it would be great to see him in the game. Dark and Gritty like...yes that would be nice...very nice!

I thought Boon said "his bus is running late"? I took it as a hint he was on the roster.

Cyrax is cometh!

Cyrax is a pretty cool character, but kind of bland. Would be interesting to see how he deals with Subby this time around.

If Cyrax is in MKX, he'll probably won't have anything to do with Sub-Zero.

Cyrax and Sektor are both fairly well known, but I believe that Cyrax takes the cake when it comes to popularity and iconic status.

If only ONE cyborg is in MKX it should be Cyrax. Sektor in a cameo getting murdered by Sub-Zero hopefully.

I really liked Cyrax, in the previous timeline. Now i really don't have my hopes up for anything with this game seeing how I have no idea where they are going with this and thinking they might just end up listening to those going "This aint your MK anymore, time for a fresh start! Kill em all!"

It certainly would, but imagine Cyrax fans if that happened...

It is a really tough choice between Cyrax and sektor if only one is to be included.

The 2 in 1 theory could be plausible (or even 3 in 1 if sektor takes cyber sub's abilities) would fit perfectly with the variation system.

All I know for sure is that I really want at least 1 cyborg in mkx, from the characters revealed so far it is safe to say the cyborg would look and play AMAZING

New Cyborg (Grandmaster/Sektor's father), arises and attains Sektor's, Cyrax's and Cyber-Sub's powers for each variation.

Cyrax has always been and always will be the coolest robot and he needs to be in mkx
