Who else is avoiding spoilers like the plague?? (NO SPOILERS)

Only 7 more days! Stay strong, friends.

It was June 2nd, 2014 when the "Who's Next?" trailer was released, and every day since has been another day down. Well it's 309 days later, we can do 7 more.. right?

It's like an obsession, all I day I talk about MKX and just can't stop thinking about it. 10 months didn't feel that long, probably because back then, early 2015 was so far away. It's hard to imagine the scale of 10 months, it's just too large. But when it's a week away, it is so close and yet so far.

So, how are you passing time?

Have you been spoiled? If so, how do you feel now?

If not, do you think you'll make it 7 more days without spoiling something?

I've disregarded anything from story mode. Only thing I been on the hunt for is MK renders / Bio Images to make updated forum signatures with. That's it.

I tried, but going into the Story thread was a big mistake ._.

Once I see a spoiler, I say fuck it.

I've steered clear of any and all story mode stuff as I want to be wowed the day I get it,

alts and bios I don't mind seeing now
Challenge tower stuff I've also steered clear of

Not trying to see too many fatalities or brutalities as I want some to be a suprise

7 days!

I have no real problems with spoilers, though I haven't watched any of stream leaks yet I have read the massive spoiler thread.

Second Fatalities (Salty I didn't get to see Reptile's second fatality before it got taken down)

Alt Costumes

Arcade Endings

Story Mode Deaths ( I did watch one specific death scene though )


You name it i've read it. Will it affect my enjoyment of the game? Absolutely not because reading is not the same as watching it

Plus it's all short term memory stuff i'll probably forget it all by April 14th.

I been trying to avoid spoilers but obviously I cant because when I look at MK X vids on YouTube people are actually posting in the comments what happened in the Story Mode. I admit I spoil myself on purpose looking at fatalities

Yeah I come in and read a non spoiler thread just to see someone say "well so and so isn't even in the story mode part of the game". It may not be a huge spoiler but I don't wanna spoil anything

All i will add he looks a bit like Dark khan from MK vs DC .. thee design is totally botched and could of been alot better. -_-

The way I figure it i'm just saving myself any disappointment that might encounter after I pop the disc in that could give me buyers remorse?

Who the fuck am I kidding it's MK i'll never have buyers remorse.

@colt

As far as the NPC cameos for the launch trailer there is no way you would know who is in or out without coming to an MK forum but i'm pretty sure that's what you just said anyways?

I'm staying away from them. I may have seen some images that may mean some stuff while I was looking for the Sareena image but that's all I've seen for now.

I still don't know for sure who the big bad is and the last trailer was awesome for me because I didn't know what events they were showing and could speculate on my own.

I've done my best to avoid all story spoilers so far. I've taken a look at as many fatalities as I could, though, so I guess I've spoiled that for myself.

I'm trying my best to avoid any story mode details or videos, but am stoked at seeing pics of characters and bios that pop up here and there.

So now I'm a lot more serious about avoiding all spoilers. I saw the 25 minute story preview, and Ferra/Torrs second Fatality but that's it.

I'd like to keep it that way.

I have honestly avoided most streams, reading stuff, etc.
After the MK9 fiasco here, I told myself not this time. 7 days is a quick wait. No worries. I will see everything once I play it.

Fatalities aren't the reason why I play MK, and besides, they all get stale eventually.

I'm glad to see others fighting the good fight and avoiding spoilers. Other than the alt thread I'm doin alright. It is extremely tempting tho and I really do not know if I'll last. The hype is too strong, I need new info every so often or I go into withdrawal. I wish there was some kinda program, with like a bunch of steps, to help (MKO) users like us stay clean. Last time I used spoiler tags to get my quick fix my wife said she couldn't even recognize me which was fucking crazy because I'm not married.
