Well all I got to say is that the final boss must be huge and very well intimidating. Not like mk4 with shinnok as the final boss, unless he somehow transform into some netherrealm beast. In short something like motaro in mk3 but more durable

As long as it's not Onaga or Blaze, it'll all be good. Shao is dead, so no worries about him.

I too am hoping for a boss that's not super easy.

MK has always had the idea that bosses have to be big, hulking, and cheap. But big, hulking, and cheap don't make a good boss. Kahn, Goro, and Kintaro were laughably easy to beat. I think it's time to veer away from brutes and do something different.

The Boss AI should be seriously amped up this time around. If I repeat combo strings, the boss should recognize the pattern and punish accordingly. The boss should use wake up attacks. And it goes without saying, but the boss needs damage buffs. But not ridiculously beefy damage, just slightly above normal.

Duke Nukem comes out of nowhere, see's Cassie's limp body, then shoves a pipebomb into her uterus. Then starts running off, saying "It's time to abort your whole friggin' species" Then she combusts.

I'll drink to this....

I want to be on the edge of my seat and raging over trying to beat the final boss.

Are you sure Shao Kahn died? It would have been easy for Shao Kahn to force Rieko to put on his armor and fight Raiden while he recovered from his wounds.

Shao Kahn died, there's no way for anyone to question it.

The comic is a cannon prequel to the game, set after MK9. Shao is dead, Mileena took rule, Kotal overthrew her & Reiko is still alive, and in the game (set after the comic) Ermac has Shao's soul inside him- so yeah Shao definitely is dead.
