You can have every MK game that came out with a PS2 and a PS3.

PS3 for MK vs DC

PS2 for MKDA, MKD, MKA and MKSM + the collector edition of MKD contains MK1, MKSM's MK2 and MKA's UMK3

Plus, MKMSZ, MKSF, MK4, MK3 and MKT can be played on PS2.

if you wish an arcade perfect version of MK3, buy the MAT2 game.

You'll absolutely need a dreamcast for MKG.

And don't play nintendo versions of old MK games, they suck.

Thanks I'll try to get a PS2 maybe. Yeah, when i was like 10 all i had was my extremly native Nintendo 64, I don't even think my parents knew i was playing games with such gore, they would be flabbergased(word?).

It will be kind of hard to find the Premium edition of MKA nowadays, if i were him I'd get MKTrilogy for PS1(same game, more chars)

He actually don't need a Dreamcast to play MKG. The game is nicely emulated on PC thanks to nullDC.

BTW, MKT is definitely different than UMK3. And not just as it comes to number of characters.

Too bad, because the gameplay is exactly what makes the whole important difference. UMK3 is a far more balanced game than MKT.

MK1- Plug n Play controller, also available on MKD kollectors edition

MK2- MKSM unlockable by completing the 5 Smoke missions (Smoke can be found in the Lving Forest level), also available on PSN (sadly, you only have an Xbox 360, so this one is unneeded, just throwing it in)
MK3- Available for PSX, therefore playable on PS2

UMK3- MKA Kollecter's edition, also on Xbox Live Arcade (you already have this one)

MKT- Available for PSX, therefore playable on PS2, HOWEVER, there ARE errors, whenever you ebat the game, it crashes and the game freezes.

MKSZ-Available for PSX, therefore playable on PS2

MK4- Available for PSX, therefore playable on PS2, same for N64, also ported to the Gameboy

MKG: Unless you have a Dreamcast, an emulator's your best bet.

MKSF-Available for PSX, therefore playable on PS2

MK:Adv- Available at any Gamestop or Play n Trade for under $15 for the GBA

MKDA- Available at any Gamestop or Play n Trade for under $10 for the PS2 or GBA

MK:TE- Hard to find, available for the GBA, haven't seen ti anywhere recently though

MKD- Available at any Gamestop or Play n Trade for under $15 for the PS2 or Xbox

MKU- Available at any Gamestop or Play n Trade for under $20 for the PSP

Midway Arcade Treasure1 or 3 has MK1. It is not Midway Arcade Treasure 2 for sure because number 2 has MK 2 and 3.
On the XBLA market, I've found UMK3 which is the most badass I've ever played. If i get anymore info, I'll be the first to let you know!
