I was 4 and I wasing playing MK1 on super nintendo. I was playing with Sub-Zero and I was just randomly pressing buttons while my mind was swirling and how kickass the game was. It said Finish Him against the behalf of Johnny Cage, and Finish him I did. Continuosly, i pressed buttons and to my surprise, my Sub-Zero froze the dizzy Johnny Cage and knocked him over. After that i just stared at the T.V, then I immediately ran downstairs to tell my mother what i had just done.

I'll never forget my first fatality!

When the screen said FINISH HIM! i wanted to see what it would look like if you tried to block and jump at the same time,

I don't remember for sure but I believe my first fatality was either Toasty or the Pit.

Scorpion's Toasty Fatality from MK1. It was both the easiest for me to perform at a young age when I didn't have the greatest finger dexterity yet, and helped solidify my love of the character.

My friend had this SNES magazine from back then where ALL of the characters' moves and fatalities were written for the first Mortal Kombat. The first one I tried out was Raiden's fatality on Sub-Zero, who my friend played as.
