Not that it's a bad game, but MK Armageddon.

Makes me happy I was too poor to buy it when it came out and I rented it instead. Damn that game sucked.

Well, for me it's MK1.

Just don't like playing it as much as I do the rest.

I just never liked it as much

Out of my stash , probably Deadly Alliance. It was good when it first came out, and Sub Zero's skeleton fatality was the best. It got dull after 2 weeks with me beating the game. Too easy. Completing the strings of combos were too easy to beat up on Quan and Shang in the end.
*More people will say Armageddon is the worst, but atleast you get better fun out of two players choosing between all those fighters. That sets up for a good fight night in my book. The character endings in Armageddon was B.S., but I still say Deadly Alliance is worst.

MK finally makes a true transition to 3d and no deathtraps? Imagine Soul Calibur style ring outs but instead of falling in water or off into blackness you fall onto spikes or into lava. That is all they had to be. Colossal lost opportunity there.

No special moves for mk characters? What. The. Fuck. Okay I know that some of them had special moves but most of the iconic ones were missing and NO ONE had a teleport.

Raiden, Scorpion, and Quan Chi all suffered greatly by not having their teleport moves. Especially Raiden and scorpion. Who would have thought somebody could be that stupid to not include Raiden and Scorpion's teleports.

No leg grab for Sonya. That is her most iconic move. Imagine no dragon punch for Ken and Ryu. Nope didn't think so.

Reptile fans like myself got fucked the worst though. I enjoyed Reptile in mk4 but was really bummed that he didn't have his forceball. That is my favorite Reptile move bar none. It even looks wicked. Well that stayed gone from mk4 here. The slide was traded up for the super crawl move in mk4. Okay. The dash punch move was okay as well. None of that comes back in mkda though.No forceball, no dash punch, no invisibility. The lizard ball roll was okay.

No acid spit either. In mk2, mk3, and mk4 he had it. It is gone from mkda. We have the acid PUKE here. The acid spit was always something like a venom spitting cobra. Not a big green ball of puke. He even sounds like he was puking when he does it. Ugh.

Don't even get me started on the iguana look either.

No superman torpedo for Raiden. What. The. Fuck.

No energy net for Cyrax. That is like Scorpion not having his harpoon.

Then there was the just plain stupid special moves. I am looking at you Bo Rai Cho and you Drahmin. Farting, puking, and flies.

MK4 had full motion endings and the home ports had cgi endings. This was in 1998. MKDA was 5 years later in 2002 and we regressed back to the mk3 1996 days of picture endings. Unacceptable.

MKDA had the most shitty hidden characters ever. Mokap isn't even a real character. He was meant to be a joke like Meat from mk4. Blaze looks okay. But then both he and Mokap have the exact same special moves.

One fatality a piece? What the fuck is this? MK1? 1992?

What is with all the globs and over exaggeration of the blood? I found myself turning the blood down in the options. It was too distracting and cartoonish.

The new characters were a sorry lot as well. Hsu Hao, Drahmin, Lei Mei, Bo Rai Cho, Blaze, and Mokap.

Kenshi could have been okay except he had all of Ermac's special moves and Ermac is way better.

The gameplay didn't feel as fluid to me either. The controls seemed somewhat sluggish to respond too me.

No jumping.

There were positives to this game and I got some enjoyment out of it for a while but this game scrapped all of the innovations and positives of the previous 4 mk games and replaced it with complete crap by comparission.

MKDA was my least favorite mk game ever. I would rather play mk vs dc than this game.

I would have to say MK A there was way too many characters and all of them played the same. And Kreate a Fatality was a huge dissapointment. They could have least put one move that the character does(like Scorpion's spear, Sub-Zero's freeze.)

MKA - worst MK game of all time.

MK:Special Forces was also pretty terrible.

Here is my over all ranking of all the MK games (the fighting ones only):

3. MKDA - awesome game, brought MK back into the spotlight
4. MKD - also a very awesome game, very close behind MKDA. The first 3D fighting game to introduce online mode.

7. MKT - kind of mediocre
8. MK4 - terrible graphics, everything else was good, but the graphics were really, really bad. Ugh, thinking about it still gives me the shivers. Had really cool FMV endings though.
8. MK vs. DC - very mediocre fighting game. I didn't even buy it.
9. MKA - worst MK game of all time, one of the worst games I ever played, and most broken game of all time. That was the game that turned me off MK, it was during that time I switched to Soul Calibur.

MK2, MK3 and UMK3 were the best imo...

Mortal Kombat 2 actually does come close to being the worst franchise regarding the gameplay and the (in)equality between the player and CPU, especially when it plays Mileena and Kitana. But that may be just me and my experience.
