This is kinda bothering me, not just in this game, but with other games as well. How come most men in video games have so many different outfits?

Sub-Zero and Reptile are so far the only two characters to have the most wardrobe changes. Leon Kennedy from RE has the most wardrobe changes, Mario... you get the picture.

But I always thought, how all women are with clothes, that the girls would get the most wardrobe changes. I mean, I know Sonya and Kitana does, but... not by much. Why is it always the men?

Are men not allowed to change their clothes? You want them to wear the same clothes all the time? If all of Sub-zero's wardrobe consisted of the clothes that we saw him wear in all of the Mortal Kombat games, then that’s not an extremely large wardrobe. It just kinda makes Sub-zero an eccentric for wearing flashy ninja Esq. clothes every where... all the friggen time...

And the Repster can't help it. He's either evolving or de-evolving... all the freaking time. I'm sure he ruins his cloths often due to all that shape shifting. Let em be. guy lives a hard life as it is.

And about Leon Kennedy. Christ!!!

How long was the gap between Resident Evil 2 and 4. Like freaking eight years or so. Man, can't a guy change his clothes from the span of eight years.

And why should women be subjugated to the stereotype of changing their clothes all the time!? Huh!!!! Why is that!!!?

Poor Kitana gets so much crap because she's a woman and a princess, and half of the community is expecting her to change for MK versus DC. "Oh wear something Princess like!!!" they say or "Ohh, can't Kitana to wear something new improved and pretty!!!"

eff that man!!!

Kitana wants to wear her Blue MK2 one piece and mask from 1993 and that all she's gonna wear!!!!

The same old thing, and that’s whats she gonna wear!!!

and that’s final.

This is kind of a joke post, please don't take it too seriously.

But in all seriousness. I would presume they change the look of the character to keep them from getting stale aesthetically. But I don't think all male characters have to stay in the same garb much of the time and change as little as often. Like wise, I don't think all female characters have to change their clothes so sporadically.

I don't know. In DOA the females have a lot of different ensembles. The females never get that sort of detailed attention it seems unless they are being used for promotion and need to be fleshed out. Kind of like Mileena was in Deception.
