starting with the one you like the most to the one you like the least. You can exclude ones you've never played but I'm talking EVERY MK GAME. Even mythologies/special forces/shaomonks if you've played them. Here's what I think:
1. MKD
2. MK1
3. MKSM
4. MKA
5. MK2
6. MK3/MKT
7. MKv.DCU
8. MKSF
also MKDA was after MK2, I just am very tired and can't be bothered to renumber and add it in.
MKD is top because I probably played that the most, and I thought it was actually really great. And I for one actually really enjoyed puzzle kombat (Chess was eh). Also there were a SHITLOAD of fatalities and I completely wish Hara Kiris return some day. MK1 was so high just because of nostalgia and the fact that it was the first game I'd ever played, in my room on my adorable little sega genesis. SM I enjoyed the hell out of. One thing I really liked was that they really didn't go easy with the final bosses.. felt just like the older games. MKA was cool, hard to get past the kaf and various other crappy things. Roster made up for it though. MK2 I just remember playing at the arcades when I was young and always getting owned. It's not until just recently that I've picked it up and started actually getting into the flow of things. MK3 always kinda felt eh to me. Hard to explain. DCU was a pile of shit. Well.. I take that back. Much better fighting system, pretty cool fatalities, freefall was kinda cool, and so were the other little gimmicks. But the game felt unfinished.. and I'm honestly still getting buyers remorse from it. And I only paid 25 dollars. MKDA was ok.. not much else to say. and MKSF. Well.. you guys all know about that one.
Anyway.. what do you guys think were the order of games on the awesome scale?
also I fully understand that there's a very good chance that this thread is made every 5 minutes.. but I will take this chance due to the fact that I am far too tired to start going through the forum.

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe
...1) Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3: All of my favorite characters, best combo system, balance was a bit off, but that never bother me as a kid. I loved the game play mechanics and the few extra features and modes.
...2) Mortal Kombat 2: Introduced some wicked ass new characters, the look of the game was phenomenal-it gave a vicious glimpse of what Outworld is like. It was everything the original game was times two.
...3) Mortal Kombat Deception: Re-introduction of many nostalgic characters including two of my favorites while leaving out many of the typical characters warmed my heart. The game modes were a plus, Konquest was fun, and the gameplay itself lasted quite a while.
...4) Mortal Kombat 3: Introduced some really cool new characters but left of a few of my favorites. Met my all-time favorite in that game and absolutely loved the new combo system. The arenas were a mix of the previous two games, Earth-like and Outworld-ish combined.
...5) Mortal Komabt Deadly Alliance: A step in the wrong direction that could have been disastrous, though it suited me well for the next couple games. The new characters were great which was a relief from MK4's new selection, and the main and individual stories were very well-thought out.
...6) Mortal Kombat Trilogy: I liked how they tossed in the characters they left out from the second installment, but the game looked too sloppy. Characters from different sequals versing each other looked unnatural, though it was fun to be able to play as anyone you wanted at the time.
...7) Mortal Kombat Gold: A much better version of the fourth sequel since it included some familiar faced from the second and third sequel. The endings were much better in this version and it lasted a while before it got too boring.
...8) Mortal Kombat Unchained: It was great to play one of my favorite new-generation game in the middle of the night in my room. I rather enjoyed this game though I was never able to play with anyone.
...9) Mortal Kombat 1: Classic that I was never really into. I only liked Sonya because she was a chick that kicked ass and Raiden because he had thunder powers. The rest of the characters bored me and we didn't know about fatalities. the blood was also not present because I had the SNES version.
...10) Mortal Kombat 4: Disappointing sequel because we didn't see any mk3 veterans and only two from the second sequel. The new faces were repulsive and even some interesting characters like Shinnok could have been better. I was also not excited to see Goro; because the sub-bosses got more intimidating that the sequels went on, I was excited to see what they were cooking up for the new game, but instead they reverted back to Goro. I didn't think the 3D worked well, but it would have to do. I also was only stuck with Sonya and Tanya.
...11) Mortal Kombat Armageddon: The biggest disappointment game the franchise offered. With MKvsDC we knew that were were walking into a bad game, but with MKA, we were suckered in. Attracted by the scent of creating fatalities and fighters and seeing all of the kombatants together for the first time since Trilogy sounded thrilling, and then we get a broken sequel that lacked so much character quality. They spent WAAAY too much time on the konquest mode which was uninteresting compared to the MKD konquest. This game was a glitch-ful disgrace that involved little to no though at all. The story was a pathetic attempt to try to get rid of all of their crappy characters, but that just back-fired on them, now they're resorting to having Raiden send a message back in time and change history.
...12) Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition: I don't have much to say about this game except that it looked awful and played awful. The cartoony look was just a disgrace and I feel that it should be forgotten immediately.... what? What game?
...13) Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe: *sigh* This game is an absolutely disgrace. Normally a game makes up for its flaws with its strong points, but not this time. Mortal Kombat vs. DC was just a joke. Sometimes I feel like I don't know how to explain it. Like, imagine if a giant clown was the boss of a Halo game and when you complained about how ridiculous it looked, nobody understood what you meant. The super heroes' presence in a Mortal Kombat game COMPLETELY ruined it right then and there. It doesn't matter if the designs looked great or if the gameplay was as fun as MK3, the fact that a bunch of stupid looking super heres are sitting there versing bad-ass MK characters is just a joke. Now the fact that they're even in the game is enough for me, but I'm going to continue anyway. We only had a selection of ten MK characters and they were all characters who they considered the "most popular"... what else would you except from a company that has casual gamer semen crusting up on their lips. The test your might was a horrible mistake, it simply was NOT the same. The close kombat and the free fall kombat was the worst idea they EVER had. It's just skill-less guessing. It doesn't require days of training and you get 25 to 36 percent of damage on them! Just from guessing wrong! Anyway, I'm gonna stop there, but hopefully, the next game will make it straight to the top, and not create three consecutive disappointments.
