I fail to see how iconic status gives such a lame character the number one spot.

I think Chun should have placed higher then Croft because she was a better rounded character and innovative for her time. Not because I only consider the external appeal of a character.

Have you played Tomb Raider games? Because Lara croft is actually a really good character. Well, at least in the newer TR games.

But either way, the reason she placed higher than Chun Li is simply because of familiarity. Lara Croft is a much more recognized character. And frankly, Chun Li isn't all that. I'd place Sonya above Chun Li.

I think Samus got first place because of how long she's been around in the gaming world.

Just different strokes I suppose.

Yeah, I agree that Samus was pretty much a given do to her age.
