Fatality: Punch to gut hard, Knee to head, Take out three shuricans and hit in stomech. Finally go behind oponent slowly walking and snap neck.

Multi Fatality: Head gets hot. hands glow erie green. light goes to every head.When light is clear nothing is left and all bodies drop dead.

Animality: Light swirls around until thick shround of green fog. Become black Praying Mantis. Take hands with spikes on them and shove through heart. Animality the anouncer guy says as zooming in dramaticly.

Brutality: Punch to face, punch to face, spinning kick to head, flip up and shoot a glowing skull down throat. BBBAAAMMMM.

Also, Skarlett, instead of just saying your clan is dead...why don't you just do the damn Mission your Leader worked so hard on. Write a fucking paragraph instead of one sentence.

Fatality: I make 4 Shadow Toss Clones, each grab a limb of the opponent. I give a shirukien a shot of Necro-Powers. As the shirukien is glowing, I make a verical slice, starting at the neck, ending at the Navel. The Necro powers infect the cut and cause red streaks to appear all over the body. Right before death from Poisoning, the Shadow Toss Clones run in Opposite Directions, causing the said opponent to have all limbs ripped off. As the opponent lies on the ground, seconds away from death, I rip his head off.

Multi Fatality: I send several Gattling Shirukiens in the Sky, followed by a Necro-Blast. The Shirukiens come down, infused with the Necro power, and kill the opponents quickly.

Animality: None

Brutality: I send a barrage of torso shots, a quick punch to the throat, and then a kick below the knee. This sends the opponent to the ground, I then stomp on the opponent's head. Not the traditional brutality, but I like it.

(Just so everyone knows about my last post, I'm not trying to hate on MK at all, just my general feel about this concept. Don't get me wrong, I love MK and I will probably buy this game anyway just to support it and because I'm loyal to the series. Perhaps I can look past the crossover story bit as we get some more info. I just hope the story isn't canon and I honestly don't think it will after it's reception. That'll be the only way to save the story from going kaput.)

anyway...

* The Soul is seen walking down the corridor to the Grandmaster's throne room. He is let in and bows before kidkombatant. The Brotherhood Grandmaster motions his hand for the Soul to raise as he speaks.

Soul - Grandmaster, I have come fourth to request permission to enlighten my training and skills.
KK - .... What exactly does this enlightenment entail?
Soul - I have been asked by the warlocks of the 5th plane to retrieve them something. It is what I "owe" them in return for my passage into the bowels of the Netherrealm.
KK - Ahh, the warlocks. They've left me a good report on you. Be sure to return from "mission" and be weary of the demons and spirits of the 5th plane, as I am sure you already are aware of.
Soul - Yes Grandmaster....
KK - Quan Chi's forces are drawing near. It is imperative that you make haste on your journey, for your talents with the Brotherhood will be greatly needed.
Soul - Yes Grandmaster. I will work to my fullest to finish this mission in order to serve the Brotherhood again our enemies.

* kidkombatant bows his head and the Soul bows back before he turns to leave the throne room. As he walks down the halls, he anticipates the mission ahead of him and prepares for his departure. Upon heading to his quarters, he briefly explains his intentions to his clanmates as he heads out.

Sm0k3: (To TSOE) And, you must go on this mission?

Fatality: I pull out my axe and knock off both of the warrior's legs. Now on the floor, I lift up his body, and use my spear to connect with his head, and pull it off, launching it across the room.

Multi Fatality: I produce 7 shadow clones, and we all sorround the warriors. We use our dark shurikens to cloud the area around the warriors, then launch our necro-powers, lighting up the cloud, and obliteraring all of the warriors.

Animality: None

Brutality: I uppercut the opponent, then pull him back down with my spear, give him 6 torso shots, then I use a dark shuriken to cut up his throat, and flood his lungs. As he dies of suffocation, I pull off his limbs, and then launch some necro-power into his stomach.

Sm0k3 - realistically no, but it's all a part of my character development and to build some story besides the training. Kinda something to do between missions. I'm actually gonna attempt to finish it in one post, at most two so it's not like it'll be dragged out. As for the total development I'm not sure yet, but I just wanted to spice up some fighting for my guy in a different way instead of the same stuff and routine. It'll actually connect some things like training, weapons, and fatalities too just so we can get some use of them other than the training/sparring before doing it during a mission while we wait for it.

* Soul traveled to the gates leading to the 5th plane.

(thinking to himself) "I cannot believe I am coming back to this place."

* Before he reaches the tall doors, a warlock is waiting for him.

Warlock - Ahh, Soul. It is good to see you.
(bowing) Soul - So once I enter how is it that I'll be able to come back.
Warlock - We will most definitely be waiting for you on the other side.

* Soul looks on as the gates open slowly.

Warlock - The abandoned temple is not far.

* Bowing once more, the Soul treks through the doors and follows the path set by the warlocks. He says more on the inside, and a thunderous rumble sounds as the heavy doors close behind him. Soul's journey is not long before he reaches the abandoned temple.

* After his hike he reaches the tall structure dark, emanating no signs of life. He walks to the front doors and pushes them open. The infrastructure smells clean surprisingly; no odors. As Soul walks through he remembers that next the throne room down the corridor is the treasure room.

* He walks down the corridor and half way down he quickly picks up on a scent. It is the smell of blood. He continues until he reaches the throne room. Inside he see an Oni feasting on a body as a tall slender being, presumably another demon of a sort stands watching. The demon slowly turns and stares at Soul.

* Suddenly the doors behind him shut and more demons arise from the surface. Soul is surrounded and gets into stance. As a demon rushes him, Soul blasts a Necro-Skull into the demon's chest knocking him over. As the others pursue Soul, he dodge an array of punches, kicks and various blades.

* A spear wielding demon thrusts his blade firmly aimed at the Soul, but anticipating the foolish move, Soul quickly dashes to his left and grabs the spear pulling it into the way of a demon throwing his sword and impaling him in the abdomen. Just as the spear goes though, the sword flies right into the spear wielder's face. The Soul then quickly throws his Shu-Rang-Ken that darts in a large arc, decapitating the remaining demons in range. The deadly star comes zooming back and the Soul catches it stylishly. MULTI FATALITY aka MULTALITY

* The slender demon walks towards a door and the Oni braces Soul. The beast charges but is met with a swift kick to the jar. The Soul makes easy work of the Oni of the best doesn't stay down. Soon enough, Soul finds himself exhausted with this battle. He knows a fight with the other demon is imminent, therefore reserving his energy is key. He then gathers his strength and launches himself at the Oni delivering a several blows to the Oni's head, face, chest, and legs. The Oni cannot withstand the attack and finally the Soul ends his assault with a spinning back kick straight to the heart of the Oni so powerfully that the Oni's chest explodes in a gunshot reaction with the impact fully breaking through his back. The Oni falls over with a disarranged gaping hole largely than a bowling ball. BRUTALITY

* Soul follows suit of the tall demon and finds himself in the treasure room. All empty except a shining box further down almost out of sight. He knows there is an ambush, for he can smell the demon's stench stained from the corpse in the throne room. Finally Soul stops at the chest under a faint light on a podium. Surrounded along the walls is a semi circle of a lava pit with the stench of death.

(thinking to himself) "Why is this chest here if this temple is abandoned? And why has no one takin it, for the smell of death is wrenched throughout the treasure room"

* Suddenly a large beast arises from behind Soul. From the lava pit it is an Orochi Hellbeast. Soul turns around "Son of a bi......." there is no time as he just barely jumps out of the way of torching breath of fire. The Soul continues to dodge attacks from the beast but soon finds himself receiving a swift punch by the hellbeast knocking him clear across the room. He gets up knowing that the demon is watching. Soul cannot waste more time or energy on the hellbeast and plans his next move. The hellbeast charges at Soul who slides under him and blasts a Necro-Skrull into the beast's chest. It only causes the monster to stumble back a bit, but Soul runs and jumps off the creatures knees to deliver a spinning roundhouse to its face. As he returns to ground Soul throws both of his daggers at the beast but it manages to knock them away and kicks Soul launching him almost into the lava pit. The hellbeast comes near, and thinking quickly Soul summons four shadow clones who encircle and distract the beast while the Soul recovers.

* The hellbeast quickly dispatches the clones but it is then that Soul throws his Shu-Rang-Ken towards the ceiling dropping a metal spiked chandelier straight onto the beast's back sending it to the floor. The hellbeast still lives and Soul then spot a weapon native to his clan of the Brotherhood. It is a large dark hammer hanging from a chain. Soul grabs the hammer almost dropping it due to it heaviness. He examines it and then walks over to the beast and smashes it's skull to pulp.

* The hellbeast has been taken care. And Soul walks over to the chest to claim his prize. However the tall demon jumps in the way.

Soul - Who are you?
Demon - The question is, who are you? I have seen many warriors attempt to take this chest, but none have every defeated the Orochi Hellbeast. They're either ripped to shreds, or run for the lives only to be slaughtered by me and my Oni Ravager.
Soul - Well your Oni Ravager has been taken care of.
Demon (laughing) - Well you are quite the warrior, but not one good enough to defeat me.
Soul - We'll see about that.

* The two quickly engage in battle with the demon easily gaining the upper hand. He delivers a series of attacks that plant soul down on many occasions causing him to drop the hammer and is out of reach of his daggers.

Demon - You fight well, even for a Brotherhood. You have defeated the hellbeast for me. For that, I will spare you your life. Be gone, and I won't have to take your pathetic life!
Soul (heavily breathing) - Save your pity for the weak! It is my life's work to die by honor. If you can kill me.... kill me.
Demon - You'll be sorry you ever....

* Soul rushes the demon and the two continue their fight however once again the demon knocks down the Brotherhood warrior.

Demon (heavily breathing) - You are resilient.
Soul - I am Brotherhood.
Demon - Then I'll know where to send your body.

* The demon attempts to finish Soul but is blocked. The two struggle, but then the Soul stands and begins to gain the upperhand.

Demon - No! This isn't possible!

* Soul reverses the Demon's strike and begins to mortally assault the demon. His opponent falls to the floor and with one last attempt throws a punch at Soul that is blocked. Soul kicks down the Demon's knee at an angle causing it to break. He then grabs the demon's arm twists it palm side up and then drives his arm upwards at the demon's elbow breaking it as well. The demon screams in pain and the Soul stands over him. Finally Soul uses telekinesis to draw his two daggers from the ground and slices around the demon's shoulders, pelvic joints, and across the neck in a splitting scissor action. He then grabs the demon by the neck, pulls his body over his shoulder, and slams his it on the ground causing his limbs and head to separate at the joints connecting the body. FATALITY

* There the demon lay in pieces in his own pool of blood. Soul takes the chest and Troll Hammer with him as he exits the temple. He is met by the warlocks at the gates. He hands one the chest.

Warlock - You've done well Soul. Better than we could have ever expected.
Soul (bowing in pain) - Why was the temple guarded if it was abandoned?
Warlock - Do not worry, you have completed your mission and are free back to the bowels. Your Grandmaster may be in need of you soon. I see that you found the Troll Hammer. We thought it would, catch your attention as a Brotherhood warrior. It should gain you favor.
Soul - Thank you. If I may, what is in the chest?
Warrior - It is merely an artifact stolen from us a long time ago. But now it is ours again. Go back to your quarters and rest young warrior.

* Soul bows again and walks through the gates. He returns to the Brotherhood and limps into his grandmaster's throne room. kidkombatant sits upon his throne as a weakened and brutally beaten Soul stands and bows before him.

Soul - Grandmaster. I have returned from my mission, and I have brought to you an offering for my absence. Please accept this Troll Hammer....

Troll Hammer? hmm, not what i would use personally, but useful in certain situations
*while TSOE is showing his new gift, everyone in the base can hear a crackling boom as the main gate is being brought down, then we hear a resounding yell, CHARGE!!!, it takes me two seconds to realize whats happening*

SHADOW STRIKE
Some renegades from OutWorld have teamed up with Quan chi's forces and are attacking the base i need every availible kombatant ready NOW!

*when I finish my announcement I begin to change, my bones invert and my nose becomes longer, I'm turning into a Netherrealm Hound, ready to kill with a voracious thirst for blood.

Announcer: ANIMALITY

SHADOW STRIKE

kidkombatant - Soul, you are weakened, but that is not a plausible excuse for failure. As long as you can breathe, you will protect the stronghold. Get to the rear side and prevent any and all Outworld renegades from penetrating our quarters!

* After kidkombatant transforms, he tears through the corridor towards the renegades.

(thinking to himself) Soul - I knew we'd be attacked right as I return. Figures.

* Soul makes his way toward the rear and all is clear momentarily. Suddenly he spots three renegades all wielding different weapons. One holding an axe spots Soul and rushes him. Using the remaining strength he has, Soul dodges the attack and holds off the renegade but notices the other two attempting to set up an explosive.

* Soul desperately kicks his opponent off and blasts a necro-skull towards the other two renegades successfully knocking them down. He bought a little bit of time shortly. The axe wielder comes running back swinging his weapon violently, luckily, he skills are very amateur at best, and Soul catches both his arms and twists them back breaking them out of place. The Outworlder falls to his knees and Soul finishes him this a slice to his throat by his daggers.

* Soul proceeds to the other two renegades and braces himself. They make circles around him. One comes at Soul and attempts to impale him with his broad sword. Soul dashes to his right, and sweeps him as the other comes running his mace. Soul manages to dodge the spiked ball just barely. He quickly drops down and delivers a sweep to that renegade as well. The sword wielder pops back up and brutally elbows Soul across the face. Soul stumbles as he turns and then throws his Shu-Rang-Ken as he gains his composure. The ninja star blazes through the air and slices right through the Outworlder's right wrist causing him to drop his sword.

* Soul quickly leaps for the weapon and snatchers from the ground as he rolls and pops back up just in time to dodge a swining mace aimed for his head. The mace wielder is completely unsuspecting as the Shu-Rang-Ken makes its way slicing across his back and then zips back into the hand of Soul. The renegade who lost his sword angrily runs at Soul only to be met with a backflip kick sending him on his back. As he attempts to get up, Soul jumps through the air and drives the broadsword straight through the upper back of his opponent fulling impaling him through to the neck.

* (in a slow motion fashion - to picture this) Soul draws his sword and ducks under a swinging mace. As the mace passes over his head, Soul slashes his sword breaking the chain carrying the spiked ball. He uses his free hand and catches the mace by the chain and swings it right back toward the Outworlder. The mace hits the renegade square in the face so forcefully it sticks in and jerks his head back bringing his whole body with him. (back into normal pace) The victim falls backwards on his back spewing blood from all over his face.

* Soul drops to his knees, extremely exhausted from his mission to ambush so suddenly. However, he senses his time to rest will be short lived. He sits up in his position and calms his breathing. He prepares himself for combat, and meditates....

*while the entire base is deep in kombat, I lead the rest of our hounds into battle, soon there are 5 of us, and we come across a group of ten enemies, i communicate with the other hounds of the battle plan, and we charge, I go for the middle one, i takcle him and reach for his neck, one quick chomp and he's dead. then i notice another one who's advancing toward me, and as soon as i see him he is brought to the ground by one of our hounds. but another one is right behind me, as soon as I turn around, yet another enemy is behind me, * "This one's mine," * I say to the others in NetherRealm Hound-ese, and right after i say that, i vanish, one of the good things about my particular species is that it still has control over shadows, while i'm invisible, i begin shooting shadow balls out of my mouth and they each hit perfectly, then i go for his leg, with a twist of my head, his leg was gone. while I walked away i noticed the other enemies where dead, and i told the others to...FINISH HIM and they did just that, i spat the leg out, while i was walking my legs where inverting, i was becoming a wraith again.

Sm0k3: As a Brotherhood of Shadow Smoker, it is my primary duty to protect the base at all costs. I will not let this scum get into our base.

-As Sm0k3 said this, two Outworld Warriors stealthily, or at least they attempted to be, entered the base. Sm0k3 immediately spotted them. What he didn't realize, was that they were more powerful than he could comprehend. One carried a mace, and the other just his fists. The one with the mace, much more impatient, charged at Sm0k3. Sm0k3 didn't have time to draw his axe, but he quickly threw two shurikens at the charging warrior. The warrior somehow manipulated the mace, and it knocked both shurikens out of the air, however it momentarily stopped the warrior. Sm0k3 used this to his advantage. He drew his axe, and threw it, launching straight into the gut of the charging warrior. Sm0k3 then approached him, and twisted his neck. FATALITY -

Sm0k3: -Looking at the other, unarmed, warrior- You're next.

-The warrior stared at Sm0k3 for a while, beckoning him to make the first move. Sm0k3 complied. He launched his right leg straight towards the warrior's face, the warrior grabbed it, and twisted it, making Sm0k3's back vulnerable. He gave Sm0k3's back an elbow, knocking Sm0k3 to the ground-

Sm0k3: -quickly regaining composure- Damn...underestimated a bit there....

-This time the warrior takes action, he jumps close to Sm0k3, hits him in the torso twice, gives him a roundhouse, than uppercuts him to the ground. Sm0k3 gets up quickly and sweeps the warrior's leg. The warrior jumps to his feet, and Sm0k3 throws a punch to his abdomen, but he blocks. Then a punch to his face, but he blocks. Then the warrior throws a punch to Sm0k3's ribs, but Sm0k3 blocks. Sm0k3 finally sees his opening, and hits the warrior with a back roundhouse kick. The warrior goes down. Sm0k3 then puts his foot to the warrior's neck, and punches him in the face 5 more times. Sm0k3 continues to beat on the warrior until the warrior is obviously defeated. The warrior's eyes show fear for the upcoming fatality. Instead, Sm0k3 grabs him, and simply throws him out of the base. FRIENDSHIP?

-Sm0k3 runs up and sees the Soul meditating-

Sm0k3: Soul! There's 5 heading right towards us! I guess we're fighting these together now.....

*I charge into the front line of the Outworld warriors. There are about 15 in the squad I'm facing.*

SZ: I'm going to need some backup.

*I toss out 5 Shadow Toss Clones and continue my attack. I then blast a Necro Skull into the middle of the group.*

SZ: ATTACK!

*The shadow clones fail to take out more than 1 each, but several of the warriors were weakened. I pull out my scythe and take on the 10 remaining warriors.*

Warrior 1: Surround Him!

*As the warriors surround me, I begin to violently swing my chained scythe, just to prevent them from attacking. Warrior 2 jumps in the way, trying to get in a sneak attack, only to get a scythe lodged in his back. However, the scythe became trapped in some tough muscle tissue, I was unable to pull it out of his back*

Warrior 1: HAHA! Now what are you going to do?

SZ: This....*I teleport behind Warrior 1, kick the back of his knee, and then cut his Membrane with a shirukien....FATALITY*

Warrior 3,4, and 5: GET HIM!

*I am quick surrounded and I suffer a brutal beat down; I am stomped, cut, bruised, and beaten.*

Warrior 3: Let me finish him...*He takes out a large axe while the other two bound me.*

Warrior 3:AHHH!

*He thrusts down the axe, I then throw Warrior 4, who was holding me down, in the way of the axe. I then push off Warrior 5. I then quickly hop up.*

Warrior 3: You bastard! Now you die!

*Warrior 3 charges at me, swinging the axe in an agressive manner, not caring if he's vulnerable for attack or not.*

SZ: So novice.

*As he swings for my head, I slide under the axe, through his legs, and stab a shirukien in his inner thigh.*

Warrior 3: AH!

*As he is pulling out the Shirukien, Warrior 5 charges at me, I counter his attack with a Necro Skull. He is stunned for a minute, I then stab his back with several shirukiens. As he screams in pain, I throw him on his back, causing the shirukiens to go deeper in his body.*

SZ: Now where did you go!

*I see Warrior 3, crawling away.*

SZ: Where you going? The battle is over here...

Warrior 3: Go to Hell....

*He throws the shirukien that was in his leg at me. It grazes the top of my head, but no real damaged done.*

SZ: You just don't learn.....

*I pull the Scythe that was lodged in Warrior 2, I then slice up Warrior 3, leaving him unrecognizable.*

something i forgot to say:

TSOE, when you obtained your shuriken upgrade, you also gained the ability to use the shadow toss clone, AND

Sm0k3 and Sub_ZERO, when you acheived your shuriken upgrades, you gained the shifty ability to become...heh heh, Invisible, use this power well

*after I go down the hall a little ways, I realize the base is under a massive attack, that there are way to many enemies, this attack is too organized, after a second of thinking I realize the one person who could organize this battle. I rush to the center of the building and summon five Necro-soldiers, then tell them to search the base for enemies. as soon as I finish saying that a blue beam of light appears and pulls me to the above levels of Shinnoks spire, what I see there is the worst sight i can stand...


(of course, none of you members know about this unless you were in that room)

* Soul get ups from his meditation and nods at his fellow Brotherhood warrior.

Soul - Yes brother.

* Soul was able to rest a bit to heal his wounds, but he had not completely recovered. Smok3 charges towards the five renegades and jump kicks through them. Two come running towards Soul. He paces himself and as one runs at him the Outworlder throws a few rights and lefts but Soul easy blocks and dodges them. Soul waits for an opening and then kicks away his attacker. The other warrior wields a sword and comes running thrashing his blade wildly. Soul ducks and dodges the weapon but get sliced across his right arm in the process; he is still exhausted. The Outworlder attempts another slice but is stopped when Soul uses his foot to kick away the renegade's arm and then he proceeds with a spinning roundhouse.

The unarmed renegade comes running back but is met by a stiff arm from Soul. The Brotherhood ninja then knees his opponent in the stomach and delivers a smashing elbow to the face. The bladed renegade joins the fight once again, and Soul dodges under a few more attacks. The unarmed Outworlder regains his posture and then also comes back into the fight. Soul grabs the arm of the weaponless renegade after a deflected punch, and pulls it right in the way of a downward slice from the sworded renegade. The arm is cut right off and as the victim yells in pain Soul kicks him to the side and blasts his bladed opponent with a necro-skull causing the sword to drop. Soul then uses his telekinesis to lift the sword and launches it straight into the one and half armed renegade's head; instantly killing him. Soul then runs over to the downed opponent, grabs him by the head and twists it. Killing that renegade instantly as well.

(Sm0k3's description of his fight with the other three should go here which happens simultaneously)

* Soul looks toward Sm0k3 who has also finished his attackers. His fellow Brootherhood ally walks toward him but suddenly another renegade appears from behind and throws a spear heading towards the back of Sm0k3. (in a slow motion fashion for dramatization) Soul gives Sm0k3 a look of urgency, and his Brotherhood clan mate ducks just in time for the spear to pass over him. Soul then catches the spear, spins around, and launches it back down its path. Sm0k3 (still lowered) turns while he is ducked and the spear passes over him again. The weapon flies straight through the head of the renegade who stumbles back a bit. Sm0k3 then gets up and runs toward the Outworlder. As he gets in front of the renegade he jumps and flips into the air and with both hands grabs onto the spear from the outsides of the weapon. While still flipping in mid-air Sm0k3 pulls the spear ripping off the head of the renegade in the process. (back to normal speed running time)As he lands holding the spear with the decapitated head of his ambusher square in the middle, the headless body falls to its knees and then forward as blood seeps through the headless wound. TEAM FATALITY

* Sm0k3 turns toward Soul and nods his head. A job well done.

*when I went to the next level, i saw a sight i could not stand, it was the spire, the spire was being destroyed, Shinnok was no where to be found. there where hordes of enemies tearing down the building one by one, now I understood, the only way to take down Shinnok was to keep his main defence busy, I admit it, I was scared, but i had to do something, I couldnt just watch the spire being torn apart. However, it was too late, I was spotted by about 10 guards, and i couldnt hide anywhere, but i was ready.*
"Bring It"
*I immidiatly rushed toward the first one, obviously the leader, and lept in the air, then...I vanished, and this is the story of how the enemies saw it*
Quan Chi: What are you doing here? Report
Lackey: Well sir, the assault on the base didnt go so well
Quan Chi: What do you mean?
Lackey: Well, while we were dismantling the base and searching for Shinnok, I noticed that 10 of our men were circling around the portal to the bottom floor, then one of them said, "Where did it go? Find it and destroy it." then they started searching for whatever it was, when one of them started acting all...twitchy

In the middle of watching my friends battle hard I was surrounded by five warriors. I got back and charged my assault, swinging back and forth a doubled edged blade i had come across while I was looking at dead body I killed. I went back spinned around decapitating the first warrior. It only made the other warriors angry.

A brialliant green glow shot to the two's heads and the bodies dropped dead without heads.
