No it doesn't. Not even a little bit. And it's not just me, nobody has agreed with that. You have no canonical evidence and you're just being stubborn and, lacking anything more of value to say, you've just been resorting to shouting silly memes and defensively going "I don't care what anyone else thinks, nyah!" This thread was over days ago and all I'm saying is stop beating a dead horse. Let it lie, man. Let it lie.

Never give up not even in the face of Armageddon.

Canonical Evidence.

"Reptile" in MK1 exhibits moves that Chameleon will later use.
Reptile has never used these moves, mentioned having them or ANYTHING
ever related to Reptile's or Chameleon's exact location or what they were doing during the first tournament. They were both "HIDING" and since we run into a copy ninja at the bottom of the pit...that points to Chameleon and not Reptile...namebars be damned.

Unless we can agree that MK1 Reptile is just a Chameleon Prototype
and not the real Reptile.

Okay this hear has to stop. It's been confirmed a long time ago that Reptile in MK1 is Reptile that we know. The majority of secret characters in MK really never had their own moves, rather than just used other peoples moves. It is only because they added them in late and really did not have enough time to give em their own moves/story. They made Chameleon in MKT with the intention of making him use all the ninjas moves, thats his specialty. Unless you have concrete evidence that tells otherwise, this should stop right here.

Where did MK1 Reptile's copy-powers go?

I gave you the answer in my first fucking post. Reptile does not have the ability to copy Scorpion and Sub-Zero's moves, he never did, he has always had purely Saurian abilities such as spitting acid and turning invisible. And yet, he WAS at he MK1 tournament, in hiding as Shang Tsung's bodyguard, he IS still the green ninja you fight at the bottom of the pit.

THAT is what is canon. This is not a matter of opinion, this is not something you can debate or theorize. The gameplay does not match the continuity because MK2 RETCONNED Reptile's abilities and you will just have to deal with that.

It's just like how Raiden wasn't called the protector of Earthrealm in MK1, but he is in later games and he is in MK Mythologies, which came out after but takes place before. Modern material sometimes rewrites the details of past material. It happens, get over it.

Stop trying to shoehorn Chameleon into events he doesn't belong in just to give the character an artificial worth that he doesn't really have. It's in fact easier to call Chameleon himself non-canon than believe that his meaningless nothing of an Armageddon ending actually counts as a storyline.

Okay, this has gone on for long enough. Your logic is flawed. Jade used to have Kitana's moves, but no longer has them; I guess she was actually Khameleon in MK2! Noob Saibot and Smoke also had Scorpion's moves at that time! I guess they must be Chameleon too!
Oh wait, Classic Smoke, despite his ending being non-canon and admittedly a memory of Smoke, was in MKT! That must've been Chameleon! Oh wait, Classic Sub-Zero was a face that nobody recognized in his MKT ending! Guess it was Chameleon over there!
In MK1, after revision 3, when the green ninja wins the secret match at the bottom of The Pit, what does it say?
REPTILE WINS!!

And what does it say if you beat him?
YOU HAVE DEFEATED REPTILE! 1 000 000 POINTS!

It's as clear as day. It's not Chameleon, and it won't ever be Chameleon.
