i liked mk2's, mk4's, and mkda rosters because of the size, look, sound of the character select screen.

I liked MK2 for the music. I also liked MKDA because it was a vertical select screen, and that gives room to show full body renders of each character.

MK3 maan, as a kid i'd almost s*** myself just by pickin a character, it was scary!

MK3 – I always liked that Smoke (secret hidden fighter) is in the center of table, hidden behind the dragon logo.
I also liked the one from MK2, MKDA and MKD. Especially the one from MKD because the players first choice were on Scorpion’s and Sub-Zero’s icon. It was finally a time to recognize them as story leading charters!
