It used to be Kintaro. Then 2011 had to go and fuck him up.

If I pretend 2011 never happened, then it's Kintaro.

But since 2011 was fucking awesome apart from that, I can't pretend it never happened.

So I'll go with Sheeva for two reasons.

1) I like chicks

2) Goro has enough fans

Kintaro, Though I feel as though i should prefer Goro since hes the Original Shokan.

I do have the feeling that if Kintaro came in MK1 and then Goror in MK2, the majority of people would prefer Kintaro.

It was Kintaro originally. He isn't what he was used to be any longer. What about Drathon? He is another Shokan who hasn't just shown up yet. I'm going to go with Drathon, he sounds cool at least.

Goro's Ending of MK2011
For millennia Shao Kahn had toyed with the proud Shokan race, continuously demanding they prove their worth against the hated Centaur. Goro slew the emperor, ending this indignity.
He then used Shao Kahn’s blood to paint runic symbols on his body—an ancient Shokan ritual of succession. Suddenly the runes began to glow, searing Goro’s flesh. Incredible power surged through him. Goro became Drathon, the Destroyer Prince prophesized to exterminate the Centaur and reunite the Shokan bloodlines.
