Only three of them were killed by the Tarkatans, Sonya, Jax, and Johnny Cage. Kitana was killed by Quan Chi and Kung Lao was killed by Shang.

And Sub-Zero was able to do it because the cryomancer armor turned out to be magic and boosted his strength and skill.
