Oh really? I suppose in terms of the Ninja assassin stereotype, yes, he would fit the description the best. However, if we were to compare him to a real Ninja, Noob Saibot wouldn't fit the description too well and would be more of a Nusubito, another type of information gatherer.

Assuming this thread is referring to all 8 characters that were all the same model pallete swapped in some form in MKT then Ermac, you just need to see how he handles the Earthrealm warriors in his Deception ending and see his move list in Deception/Armageddon to see that anyone who comes close to him will be tossed around like salad.

If he actually showed off in the Armageddon opening movie rather than having Shang Tsung temporarly imidate him for a second then it might have been more clearer pehaps.

Also remember Ermac is not one, but many. How many of the other ninja like characters can say that?
