Would it be right to call Ermac a psyche elemental?

First - yes, I did base my question partially on Heroes of Might and Magic 3, and on a creature from the Conflux (elemental) faction. True, that creature is called 'psychic elemental', but I kinda don't dig the grammatical quality of the expression.

Digressions aside, though, I think Ermac actually could be called a psyche elemental, because he is wholly composed of souls AND possesses soul/ mind- based abilities. What do you think?

Psyche elemental would suggest that he is a being of the Mind, however, he is a being of Souls. So I would say Soul elemental is a more appropriate name for what he is.

Not really because he is not fundamentally the purest form of anything. Not even primordial.


The idea is that an elemental represents one thing in it's purest form. Hence a fire elemental in most forms is purely fire. Is Ermac pure thought? Not by a long shot. He cannot even be a soul elemental as he is comprised of MANY souls, not soul in it's purest form. ...if there is ever such a thing.
