Just a huge book with all things MK, it could give us character bios, details, it could dig into the lore, such as things with the One Being, The Elder Gods, the creation of the tournament, and go all the way to where MKX ends.

It could also have a bunch of cool other things, it could have an exact timeline as to which everything takes place, it give us detailed pictures to what all the realms look like from a birds eye view (Imagine looking at Outworld or the Netherealm on google earth lol) or imagine being able to look and be like "oh so this is where the Wasteland is, and the Deadpool is way over here, and oh look there is the Living Forest, its massive!" it could have character statistics, relationships, random facts about the characters, from creative a standpoint and some in game facts too , pretty much everything.

I know a lot if not most if the things I listed can be found with research, especially within the games, on the MK Wikia and the regular one but I think an official MK Encyclopedia would be really cool to have.

I would support this 1000%! There's so many things that are still questionable. Not to mention, it'd be nice to have something that would finally set EVERYTHING in stone.

Now that you've brought it up though, wouldn't it be awesome if a legit MK encyclopedia came with a Kollector's Edition? Maybe not MKX, but the FINAL Mortal Kombat game to significantly go out with a bang, and to give the fans something to delve into for the rest of time.

Dude I would be ecstatic if we got an official MK Encyclopedia with a future Kollector's edition lol if NRS released a pretty thick book that pretty much covered just about everything anybody could think of concerning the official canon and all things MK, I would be really happy. That is one of those things I could read over and over :)

As would I! NRS are really the only ones who could do it. At least so as nobody could argue "nu-huh! It happened like THIS...". They know the characters, they know the story, and they know every inch of the series, bottom to top. The only thing that would make this better is if they brought in Tobias again to co-write and illustrate.

Damn it, now I'll be hoping for this in the future, but I'm pretty sure I'll just be disappointed. >.<

Exactly, if this were to happen it would have to be by Boon and NRS, no outsiders with the exception of Tobias which would be awesome, but probably unlikely :/

I am in the same boat lol this is something I really really want to happen now, but since its kind of just a fantasy at this point, its probably not gonna happen :/

This is probably the best damn thread Ive read in weeks, from this forum. I would support, and buy a MK Encyclopedia. I have a huge Marvel one, and it explains everything.

MK has grown to have more then 60+ fighters, so it would be cool to have a big book on it all. Made out of carbon fiber, gold, and brimstone.

Yeah the Marvel ones are awesome, those and the Daizenshuu are what made me think about it, I really hope we will see a MK one one of these days lol

I was given the Marvel and DC Encyclopedias for Christmas and they're wonderful reading material, so a Mortal Kombat edition would definitely be fantastic.

It could even include little tidbits, quotes and behind-the-scenes sections from past and present staff.
