Yeah lol I didn't catch that until the tourney started. 16bit got 2nd though! With Catwoman no less (believed to be a mid-tier). 16bit almost didn't even go to the tourney for personal reasons but got talked into it by the rest of GGA. Awesome to see him do so well.
Top 8 was on Spooky's stream and was pretty hype. With Injustice even the damn POOLS are hype so you can watch a good 3-6 hour Saturday stream and it's pretty exciting. There's just a HUGE amount of talent right now that there's tons of killers in pools.

Wow, great character diversity in Top8 of Injustice.
Playing2Win's Sinestro looked so sick, great match vs Harold (Flash).
Noobe (Doomsday) vs REO (Martian Manhunter) was a very hype match.
Intense winner's final, fast-paced, big combos. Was hoping for a closer grand final, but SonicFox was just insane. Batgirl looks really scary.
Was happy to see 16-bit come so far with Catwoman.
Maaaaan, Tom Brady and his call outs after the grand final... :roll eyes:
EDIT: I'm having a difficult time finding MK footage from FR. I see Gross did well again, would love to see his matches, especially if he played with Sektor. EDIT II: LOL, I was looking at results from last year.

AWESOME! Wow man no idea how I missed this lol. Thanks for the archive link, watching it now. Yeah SonicFox is something else man...he's so Yolo but so tight on his execution that he overwhelms people. Plus...he's a damn kid.
