NTSC or PAL region?

Unfortunately MK9 is region locked on PS3.

On PS3, a player that lives in the USA (NTSC region) cannot play online with a player that lives in Europe (PAL region).

On Xbox360 that's not the case.

No, we can't play. I've already tried playing with some of my US buddies and it didn't work. You get a message to insert the disc into the console although the disc is already in.

It's just stupid.

You're welcome! Be warned, though, the time I usually play is rather wonky. As in, I don't really have a set date of time in the day or night that I like to play. The date of time I play constantly changes, it seems to me.
