Shao Kahn did nothing wrong
And please don't lump Mortal Kombat with Call of Duty lingo ever. EVER.

Raiden and Smoke
Smoke, but most players I fight that play Smoke are usually not very good with him and are subject to bone-breaking by my Jax. Some Smoke players I've fought do have tactical strategies, though.
Raiden, I have a harder time against him than Smoke, probably has to do with his instant-no-startup Flying Thunder move and his lightning-quick teleport (a pun!).
Kung Lao, I also have a harder time against him than Smoke, but they are usually easier than Raiden, though.

Scorpion, Raiden, Smoke, Ermac, Kung Lao.
You were good with Smoke
Scorpion, Raiden, Smoke, Ermac, Kung Lao.
You were good with Smoke
Thanks, but I'm still of the opinion that he's the go to guy for noobie players, not necessarily a bad thing unless people abuse the character, which happens far too often

Raiden.

Lmao I definately agree with BOTH of your comments
Imo, Raiden, Smoke, (Kitana) JUST because i've seen alot of people online using her and saying they are really good with her, even though they spam fans all day. Just.. No. I don't really consider her one, just imo. Same with scorpion.

So I think I will have to play the same way that every one else does and hope I can out spam my opponent.

I logged on to the online system of mk9 and used my favorite fighter Baraka expecting to have a fair fight. But. Oops I forgot this is the internets, there is no such thing as a fair fight. So this stupid n00b was always using kitana and spamming fans across the map. Everyone else was also spamming the same move too. So I had to rage quit and I could not use the chat area because some idiot was spamming the room with WHO WANTS TO BE SPAMMED!?!

Not exactly SektorSeven, you don't have to stoop to their level to enjoy the game. Believe me, I do feel where you're coming from, because when I first got online to play I was saying the same exact thing. But after raising my blood pressure a few times and treating my family with a sour attitude, both due to my rage at the game, I realized that all you need is a bit of patience and knowledge of how your character (as well as the game mechanics) works.
If you're dealing with a projectile spammer, first and foremost learn how to avoid the projectile; duck, jump, dash forward, dash backward. Pay attention how the opponent utilizes their projectiles, and always keep a look-out for their set-ups (you know, Fireball, Fireball, Teleport Punch, etc). Learn what moves you character has that can get around the projectile, or gives you special Ex Armor so that you can go through the projectile. Also, learn how to dash block too, that seems to work as well.
If you're dealing with an opponent who likes using aerial attacks and jump kicks/punch, learn what anti-air moves your character has to deal with airborne maneuvers. Learn how to block incoming airborne specials so that you can punish them with an uppercut or any other type of attack.
If you're dealing with an opponent who likes to repeat annoying little combos and throw you, learn how to utilize your combo-breaker and throw escapes. Also, I've seen a lot of decent players use Crouching 1, 3, or 4 attacks as well, to give themselves some breathing space as well as through the opponent off guard.
If they're a Teleport Spammer, pay attention to the nature of the teleport, and counter appropriately. If it's an Attack Teleport Type, block it and punish. If it's the other QuickGetBehindYou Type, then pay attention to what the opponent does after the teleport; when they attempt it again, counter it and punish accordingly.
These are just some examples, but honestly, there's a lot of different ways to handle certain spammers. Just don't give in to their lame ass way of playing; show them the difference between just doing the same one or two moves (over and over) and actually KNOWING how and when to properly use that move. The key is learning how to anticipate your opponent's attacks, and knowing how to punish them for making mistakes.
One more thing, and I promise this is it lol; you should use the matches you have with a spammer as a good way to practice what moves of your's can work against that particular situation, especially if that person decides to play you multiple times. That way, not only are you learning your character more thoroughly, but you'll be forcing your opponent to either come up with a new way to spam, or go back and actually learn how to play with that character. Or, force them to acknowledge who's better and just quit playing you entirely

So essentially these spammers act like computers or automated AI programs that only know a certain style. So you use an unexpected strategy to throw them off guard? Something they couldn't anticipate?
Something like that, but I wouldn't go as far as giving them that much credit lol. If I'm correct, the spammers you're complaining about don't know anything outside of their spamming game, and will stubbornly stick to the same routine, regardless of how many time you counter and punish them for it. But all the same, you watch, the minute you start catching them fools off guard and make them realize that whatever spam game they're using won't work against you, they most likely just simply stop playing you; hell, they might even go as far as calling YOU a cheap spammer! lol
