I'll be honest, it seems like a very fun game. I didn't actually get to play any matches because the servers were wacky last night, but the tutorial was really fun so I have high hopes for this game.
So I played the hell out this game yesterday. My thoughts on it is that it is a fantastic game. For only being an arcade game download, it is very well put together. The controls and gameplay are fantastic and live up to what they should be as a FPS.
The game has an overall feel of Team Fortress and COD but together. However, what makes it different and special? Well besides the addition of different mobility types, body types, ect, it is the quirkyness and hilarity of the theme of the game. It has tons of very funny dialouge, video clips, kill actions, and so on. The creativity in this game is outstanding.
As far as the customization, it has the loadout model of a COD game for your weapondry, support items, and "fun fact" (basically perks). However the character customization is fantastic for a FPS. You can customize both sides of your team with different body types, faces, voices, and overall wacky appearal. Now its not as a detailed create-a-character as say soul calibur, but it is still very decent.
This game does have a progression system where you can choose items to unlock as your progress through levels. You also get a calling card type thing which also has unlocks for it. Much like COD. Although there is no such thing as prestiging in this game, there are 1000 levels to progress through. (Sad you only get to 25 on the beta) Not quite sure how thats gonna work, but who knows.
For anyone who cares or is intrested in the game, it is available for download on Feb 7 for PSN and PC, and Feb 8 for XBL. The cost is only $15.
