W00t w00t?!
I saw someone asking for her iAFs to get nerfed, but thought it was a typical post-tourney nerf cry.
You're trolling right? Or is there something we, disposable mortals, are not familiar with?
I'm trolling.
I'm actually shocked at how little complaining there was. I only saw one guy on TYM demand a Kit nerf. Usually when a character wins a major people go apeshit. It's especially unusual because so many of the streamed matches were air fan city. Maybe there's already been so much complaining about Kitana it was out of everyone's system already. Or maybe everyone has grown to respect the princess.
Although I heard when Jax lost there was a meltdown lol.

LMAO, so true!

I also saw Slips stand up for you over at TYM. Awww, I'm sure he's such a goody goody behind the massive salt cover.
Morty was very cool too, during the stream and after the tourney. He seemed kinda cold and distanced to me before, but after hearing from him in the KT Podcast and seeing his comments regarding SCR, I've grown to like him (not that I disliked him before, just didn't have any definite opinion about the guy).
Btw, what happened with Shujinkydink? Many were excited about his performance, do you know which character he played with?
Oh and, did you play any casual matches as well? I know you and Mikey talked about it on the KT Podcast.
Dink didn't do well in the tournament. He beat his first opponent then had to fight Denzel Terry in the second round. Tough break to have two top players early in pools. He started off with Skarlet, she got blown up so he went back to Quan Chi but still lost. Then right after in losers he lost to a young local Socal Mileena player named Satsui No Hadou. Again he started off with Skarlet, got blown up and switched to Quan Chi. This was a close fight. Quan won the second game then barely lost to Mileena to get sent home. Dink did well in casuals though. He took a set off Tyrant and most of the Socal guys. We played and went back and forth. He's really solid, he's just a choke artist in tournament play. Still gets super nervous and cracks under pressure. Trying to mess around with Skarlet instead of his business was probably a fatal mistake too. I think next year he'll eventually shake off the nerves and place well.
I played at least a few games with pretty much everyone. Finally got to play Wound Cowboy's Shang, mirrors with Wrath and Shords(and I fought him in tournament too), Konqrr's friend Vegeta who plays a really good Noob Saibot. Flawedzilla, with the Terry bros Vegas crew who's also an impressive Noob. Wonder Chef, Shoryuken. X-Blades, the best Liu Kang I've ever played. He was another that didn't preform was well as expected in the tournament. I could see him placing next year as well. Tyant and I played more after the tournament. He was up on games then, good for me he wasn't as on point when it mattered lol. There were a bunch of casuals and tournament matches that the Socal guys recorded and will put up soon.
And yes, I finally got to runback Mike. After the worst blow up I ever suffered at UFGT I got my revenge. Still the nicest guy in the scene.

Awesome! Can't wait to check those out. Btw, thanks for all the info!
Yeah, I agree, Mike is super nice. Still, I'm glad to hear you got your revenge.
Hopefully Shujinkydink eventually overcomes the nerves, everyone wants him to do well. I also loved his Mortal Moday Stryker.
OMG, 2012 is going to be epic with Slips returning to tournaments and PL's possible return. And I haven't forgotten about Dizzy either, can't wait to see his Cage in 2012.
MK simply must be at Evo2012!
