I wonder if they'll patch those resets though, they did it for Cyrax so it wouldn't surprise me at all.

i love how he edited the fatality in the middle there....that was genius for smoke's character....i love it...

Great video and a lot of those combos were beyond amazing, love the use of Smoke's evasion move to keep the combo string going, I love how inventive players can be with each character's tool set, amazing stuff.

lol, I know right? I feel almost embarassed by my Smoke play (and I'm not too shabby) after watching that. I would love to see your average "Ugh, look at this loser pick Smoke, bet he gonna spam teleport hurr durr" player come up against this guy online and then eat a 160% combo. Not that these would be reliable online...

I am gonna try some of these out and report back. If someone beats me to it, come and post the notations for some of these.

I found some vids of Tony-T putting these into practice. I'm seriously considering going back to Smoke as my main; he just makes him look like so much fun again.

I tried these combos though...shit is HARD! Like really really hard. Landing a combo after you do that half-wiffed telepunch after the njp is so tight. I keep hitting with the telepunch and then combo is over. When I DO manage to time it correctly it is super difficult to hit a combo after. I think I am doing it too fast though, because (say on 3,2) the kick does not come out and instead I just wiff a punch. Still I will just practice it a bit more. At least I am now using b+2,4 into smoke bomb, which I never did before and it is a great starter. Also find 3,d+1,2 into NJP to be very inconsistent. The way you are facing seems to affect how easy it is to land.

Seeing Tony-T play Smoke like that is scary though. Maybe others pick this up and we start seeing more Smokes at tournaments.

Kabal, Mileena, Reptile pretty much in equal share at the moment. If I had to play a tournament right NOW I would go with Mileena. If I had a couple of days to really play a lot and practice first I will go with Kabal. I used to main Smoke, Reptile and Cyrax, but Smoke just felt a bit too limited to me because I like characters with a good mixup and well with Cyrax I just could not be bothered to have to keep changing my playstyle with every damn patch. Maybe I will go back to him once things are settled down.
I was always gonna end up with Kabal and Reptile though, my favourites from the old games by a mile. Mileena was a surprise, but I just took to her very easily.

Ugh, I'm currently having a nightmare with my Kitana against good Reptile players. He has become my #1 enemy and I feel like he just has the upper hand in this match-up. His projectiles kill my iAF game and his elbow dash is a real pain when on the ground (especially online). Kabal and Mileena can be tough for me as well, but Reptile, oh man...
