Spamming and zoning are exactly the same thing. The only difference is the choice in word you use, depending on how much you respect the player.

That was so rude and uncalled for. What's your problem?

I don't think you were joking, but, if you were, that was terrible.

The attitude that spamming is equivalent to calculated zoning, is the kind of noobish mentality that leads people to piss and moan online, rage quit, and then send messages and lobby speech that is a hell of a lot more offensive than what I said.
Not to mention that its simply incorrect, and many of use on the previous page took the time to differentiate the two. That poster probably did not even read anything that was said. His post was ignorant, stupid, and flat out incorrect. Which is the sort of thing that makes the MK online community the cancer of the fighting game world.
If we allow people like that to be the face of MK it will never be taken seriously as a tournament fighter. If no one speaks up and says "Hey, thats wrong," the ignorance will continue to grow.
Lastly I personally do play a zoning style, and I spend a lot of time and hard work developing my zoning game. What I do is not at all identical to the repition perpetuated by newcomers. There is a huge difference.
Perhaps I overreacted, and I also do like to image post, it probably got taken more seriously than I ever intended it to. However I stand by the belief that amature repition is not identical to calculated zoning and had that poster read the page it wouldve been quite obvious to him what the diference was.

That still doesn't give you any right to be an immature asshole to someone who didn't attack or insult anyone.

You do know that there are many fans/gamers who are NOT high level players. These fans/gamers don't know everything you do, but, that doesn't make them any less. It certainly doesn't make them stupid for not knowing the difference between these 2 things you've taken so personally about.

And I think you should get your priorities straight.

If you are going all crazy, rude, and aggressive towards someone because of an "ignorant" post about a videogame, how will you deal with the bigger issues in life?

Seriously, I know you mean well, but, it's not a crime to be ignorant about gameplay specifics. Not everyone knows everything about this! Less people care!

Again: this user was not rude, did not behaved stupidly, and he was not aggressive in his post.

He made a polite post about what he thought> He was incorrect, but, your attitude and behavior are really more of that "cancer" you talked about. It's actually this kind of thing that ruins online experience for a community.

How about taking a clue from your own post and learn to do that next time?

You can obviously state that the user is wrong AND correct him/explain to him why you think/know he is wrong....BUT without being such an immature jerk. Seriously, the guy didn't deserve your patronizing.

By all means, yes, speak up! But, learn to do so in a mature, polite, and smart kind of way.

Last time I checked the user wasn't attacking you or accusing you of anything. So, this personal post is not necessary.

And you are right in your belief about those technicalities, however, you will still be wrong about your attitude and the things you've said to justify your completely unnecessary behavior.

Finally, after all of that being said: I want you to know that this is not personal against you. I don't hold any bad feelings towards you, not at all. I appreciate your input of gameplay related issues and that you care for a better gaming community. I have nothing against you, Zero.

What I don't appreciate it is the negative and rude means in which you chose to attack another user.

You said it yourself, after all: If I don't speak up about something as wrong as the message you were giving, well, that ignorance will continue to grow.

PS: I'm curious, why couldn't you log in from your own account to make this response about your post? Why used your girlfriend's?

Its cool queve yoru a long time member and I respec t your opinion. Bad choice of image on my part. It came across much more aggressively than intended.

Anyways, she was working on the computer and let me borrow real quick between online matches. I didnt want to waist her time logging in and out for a quick post. Lastly I am NOT a high level player, and thats part of the aggrevation. Despite the fact that I am not, I make an effort to contribute on the parts of the game that I do understand. When I want help understanding something, I ask about it. So when someone comes in and dismisses things as broken or cheap rather than working the way that I am to understand them, it really makes me mad.

Some how on this site Ive been mistaken as a tournament or high level player. I am not and have never claimed to be anything above average. The reason I come off that way is because, like the high level players I have a deep interest in the engine and the mechanics, and I have a "dont complain about it, figure it out and beat it." Attitude.
