Between the two, I find Mileena much more fun to play with. You can be much more creative with her than with Baraka.

With Baraka, almost every combo starts with 2, 2, 1+2 or b+3, 1.

I honestly didn't even know what to include on the Mileena portion because there's so much footage of her out there. Still though, she's one of my favorites so I wanted to pay homage to her fighting style and awesome personality. My goal with any of my videos is simply to display some high damage/high hit combos that can be executed in a match and are realistic. Hopefully people that use these characters can pick up something new or maybe discover a link between chains that they didn't realize before....so more to come!

I'm thinking of doing a Jade, Raiden, Sektor, or Quan Chi video next. Any input on what you guys would like to see? I think i'm leaning towards the Quan.

I would love to see a "Story trolls" edition featuring Raiden and Quan. Both are characters I have not paid too much attention to (mainly because I dislike them from a design point of view) but who I will give a go in the future.

I recently started playing with Quan Chi. I was SHOCKED how much fun he is to use!

jump-in-punch, b+2, 1 - dash - b+2, 1 - dash - 1, 1, 2 into trance - wait for the opponent to get into the jump range - jump-in-punch, 2, 1 into skull projectile (This one does 40% damage and it's meterless).

The string b+3, 1+2 hits low first and pops up and can lead to 30%+ damage combos.

His u+3 is an overhead and can be canceled into trance for a combo.

The first combo I listed does 51% damage (IIRC) when it ends with an x-ray instead of the projectile. If you activate his damage boost before (not easy though) it goes up to 65% lol.

His f+1, 2 string hits high then low -> can catch the opponent off guard.

His enhanced beam is unblockable- lovely little dirty move that does 10% damage.

His teleport can be manipulated to not hit the opponent.


All in all, I was really pleasantly surprised how much fun he is to play with! In a span of just few days he raised up to #16 on my list of victorious characters lol.

That's a good idea....however I have a lot of stuff for Raiden to display and additionally a lot of stuff with Quan to showcase so it would be tough to fit all into 1 video. I could do two seperate parts though (sort of the past and into the future type thing)....

and yes Quan Chi is very fun to play with...the strings you listed are definitely among the main tactics I use when playing with Quan. His mixup game is fantastic and his damage is out of this world if you can sneak a power boost in prior to a combo. I pulled off a 69% Xray combo with him the other day which was my hardest hitting combo I've ever done online...so Quan is A-OK in my book lol.

So i guess that settles it then. Coming soon Raiden combo video, followed by the hugely slept-on Quan Chi. I'll work on this project tonight as I have a day off tomorrow :) .. thanks a ton for the input and I look forward to sharing more work with you!

Very pleased to see Baraka and Mileena, but specifically Baraka getting some shine, I actually fairly enjoy Baraka in this game, if it wasn't for some other under used characters, I would have loved to pick him up, he's a ton of fun, I love his playstyle.


Love the presentation of these combo videos, it feels like such a grand showcase and they have such a superb ta dah! feel to them, really impressive stuff.
