You may be able to standing 2 after EX tele~sai. I'm actually going to look into that soon. It would require godlike timing though. I'm skeptical it's doable.

You can do d+1~Pretty Kick to do 1% extra damage and leave her closer. Also with meter you can do d+1~ex fan toss into a small 25%ish combo.

I should start practicing and forcing myself to do those, d1~cutter is just a very strong habit of mine with Kitana.

I think Brady's falling into the opposite problem. He went from "Sub-Zero has no bad match-ups" to "Sub-Zero is trash." Neither of those sentiments are true. He undoubtedly has problems. He's a turtle in a game where turtles don't matter. I said for MONTHS Smoke wins the Sub match-up, and people were still brainlessly calling it in Sub's favor.

Nonetheless, it wouldn't take much to make him high-mid again: make his EX-Slide neutral on block. Now he can get in without making an unjust amount of guesses (but it's not for free). That was Sub's only real problem. It was a big problem, but a lot of characters have big problems and are still viable.

I tested and you actually can punish Mileena EX Teleport Kick~Sai with standing 2 into juggle. If you crouch block the teleport kick, unblock and duck the sai, there's a small window were its possible. The problem is you have to watch for the sai and they can delay it. I'm doubting it's even possible on a fully delayed sai. I don't think it's a realistic punishment unless they always do a sai quickly.

FWIW I think Kitana vs. Mileena is in Mileena's favor but not by that much.

Either that or give his enh. freeze projectile (ice beam) the kind or armor Scorpion has on his enh. spear. The slide would still be good to switch sides when in the corner. I hate it when I get hit out of the beam and the beam itself is already on the screen (1/3 of the screen).

People were suggesting Brady to go back to Sub-Zero in the stream chat. If they buff Sub-Zero I have a feeling that might happen. But then again, it was only his first tourney as Raiden, so we'll see.

How much damage does d1~enh. fan lift lead to? I saw Konqrr do it in one of his videos (just the start-up d1~enh. fan lift), but I also heard that it's hella hard to pull it off. I think I'm gonna start focusing on d1~pretty kicks (just hope I don't get a bunch of a$$es cause of the negative edge).

yeah d+1~ex lift is tough because of the negative edge. You'll probably get like 35%. I'd just go with d+1~ex fan toss if you want to use meter.

I tried d1~pretty kicks the other day, I wasn't really successful I have to say. I was mostly getting a$$ or nothing.

But anyway, I was checking that Tom Brady match-up chart on page 2 and I noticed he put Sonya vs Reptile 6-4 in Reptile's favor. Just the other day I was watching a stream (VSM I think) and the guy commentating was saying that it's in her favor as Reptile is having a hard time dealing with her d4 (can't remember who it was on the mic). Is she really 7-3 up against Sub-Zero, is it really that bad for him?

I feel like half of Sub-Zero's matches are schewed to the point of absurdity.....the worst match up in the game is probably a 7-3 and that's Kenshi v.s. Jade and Jade can literally not zone, can't flash, can't jump, etc. and has to rushdown Kenshi, who has similar range and slightly quicker speed.....that's a 7-3 match up.

Had never thought about Kenshi vs Jade, sounds bad, but I must say that Kabal vs Cyber Sub-Zero feels like a 7-3 or 8-2, there's really nothing Cyber can do about Kabal.
