hi i was wondering what your highest kombo is so far and how did you get that kombo and who was it with

A 7-hit combo with Smoke:
3, down+1, down+2, smoke cloud, jump+4, teleport.
I'm still not very good at the game yet. Having a lot of trouble with this game's offensive properties. I win most of my matches by baiting punishable moves, but that isn't going to work forever...

Hey whats up temp, im also using smoke, the highest combo i did was a 12 hitter with him but it doesnt do the most damage also it was a wall combo, so i wont be in that position all the time but ground combo i did an 8 hit. Smoke has two combos that allow for quick pop ups, also you can smoke bomb when the opponent is coming straight down off of the curve when he is being launched and add more moves! Wall combos allow more moves to be permitted as always and for me thats where im more effective with him. He has great combo enders and is just fun to play with. Im trying to play more seriously and get better.

Here's an intermediate Scorpion combo that will net you HUGE damage:
JP, FP, FP, spear, NJP, dash, B+BP, dash, FP, FP, X-Ray.
11 hits, 46%.

The trick with Smoke is finding the sweet spot for his smoke cloud after the down+3 launcher. Once I got comfortable with that, all sorts of combos become available. Right now I'm at 11 hits at mid-screen. I think I can safely call it my bread-and-butter combo.
Still sort of muddled by this game's offensive properties. Need to do some more lab work.

Dam thats good, down 3? I didnt see that one. Man im struggling with nightwolf man, anyone know how to do a good combo with him, without any meter?

That's the problem with Lao... you need corners.

Well you don't need corners with Kung Lao to win. Every character does better when they have someone in the corner. Kung Lao can still dominate outside of the corner, just not with over the top combos
