Kenshi won because their best fighting styles and powerful Samurai sword,like a his telekinetic powers who`s may be copy like Ermac,but,no matter of that,he is more interesting than Hotaru who just copy of guards from Deception of anyone in Conquest mode,and his features like fighting style who can Quan Chi,and he like character not give enough for pass on a next round!!

Knew this was going to be a blowout from the get-go, so I went ahead and gave my vote to Hotaru. #trueconfessions

I like Kai. I hope he returns to MKX. ^^

I find both characters a bit bland. But I like Kai much more than Shujinko, which is one of my least favorite characters of all times.

I don't really care about any of them. But... In the end i'll go for Kai. Both are really bland to me, though.

What made Kai unique in MK4 was his handstand,I wonder if he came back in MKX will it be like how we input keys to get reptile invisible.

Would make a good fighter and I think I remember he was a friend to liu kang, so maybe in the story Kai can have a bigger impact in the story.

I voted for Shujinko, I think him and Kai are both interesting, and Shujinko is probably going to lose anyways... oh well.

I know Shujinko is not among the most popular guys, but I have a soft spot for him and he gets my vote.

I voted for Shujinko because i had lots of fun playing with him on Konquest.

both bland but Kai has way more potential to develop further, Shujinko is already so old that he could only develop into a grave.

This battle is not really strong who i really think,my favourite on this battle is Kai,i playing with him on a MK4,and he was really good character with little bit Shaolin fighting style and good sword,Shujinko is very funny and his what i really watch on a Konquest of MK:Deception is really riciculous and wheller-dealer way acquired of this fighting style and quest every Kamidogu Symbol,and confinement!!

I hardly played MK4 so I have no real attachment to Kai but I played the shit out of Deception so I vote for Shoojee.

Kai, definitely. He's a potential gold mine in terms of storyline, especially with Liu Kang dead (yeah right). Plus, he looked like a stud in his post-MK4 3D render.
On a side note, I like how this year's poll is coinciding with the World Cup.

Kai FTW at the time he was somewhat a replacement for Kung Lao (Don't give me that MK Gold crap, that game only came out for Sega DreamCast, and considered non-canon) and was perhaps almost an equal to Liu Kang, on the other hand Shujinko only had moves from other characters (that you had to unlock in the krypt... -_-) gives him the benefit BUT he as a character is unoriginal in special moves , his experience throughout the years is good but he has become weak through age, and Kai takes the win swiftly.

Love Kai sorry Shujinko. Anyways I think we'll see Raiden v. Kotal Kahn soon

Kai. His MKA appearance was ridiculous, though. Looked more like a Jamaican freefighter than a Shaolin Monk. I hope they give him a proper shaolin monkish look if he makes the cut.
