Cinder, from the official Midway Games forums, has posted another piece of concept art from the upcoming Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. This time, it is of the Wastelands' catapult deathtrap.

This deathtrap was seen in action back at E3 2006, but this concept shows the design's team original idea for this fiery trap located in one of Mortal Kombat 2's most memorable stages, remade. It was one of the favourites seen at the event.

Today, MK fans got a double-dose of concept art from the upcoming Mortal Kombat: Armageddon! Both images are concept works of Blaze's Pyramid Arena. The first image, posted by Cinder over on the Midway Boards, is a sketch of the Pyramid from above. The second, posted on the official site, shows a painting of the Pyramid as seen from its base.
