The rumored HD collection of the original three 2D Mortal Kombat games has once again made an appearance, this time being listed at GAME, an online merchant site for gaming in the United Kingdom. This reflects Gamestop's current listed release date for the game, currently slated for 11/16/2010.
Recently, Mortal Kombat series co-creator and project lead Ed Boon has been bitten by the Twitter bug. Midway has released twelve new screenshots from their upcoming PC port of their collection of arcade classics, Midway Arcade Treasures: Deluxe Edition! Among these screenshots are two screenshots from the first Mortal Kombat; we have confirmed that MK1 is now included in Midway Arcade Treasures: Deluxe Edition!
Midway Games released last week eight new screenshots from the upcoming PC release of Midway Arcade Treasures: Deluxe Edition. The compilation will feature games from both Midway Arcade Treasures 2 and Midway Arcade Treasures 3. This is important to Mortal Kombat fans as it means that the arcade ports of Mortal Kombat 2 and Mortal Kombat 3 will be included. Although a screenshot of the original Mortal Kombat is shown below, our best guess is that it was released in error. Check out the screens below:
