Definetly Baraka.
He is an intimidating fighter who without a doubt beats the Thunder God Raiden, and the Shape shifting Sorcer Shang Tsung.
Thats two votes common people :D

These don't seem like the characters to attract the nerd-fanboys. Usually its Scorpion, Sub, and Reptile that attract them.

The 3 characters are top faves of mine, but it will go like this.
*First to DIE*
Baraka, easily. Im a huge fan of the mutant, I loved him ever since Mk2, but against these 2 powerful forces of good and evil, a God and a Sorcerer...he has NO chance, at all.
*Second to DIE*
I seriously don’t know. Shang Tsung and Rayden are both powerful. Im sure Rayden has the peace and mind control to beat Shang Tsung, but Tsung also has a huge force of evil, and an excellent use of treachery to do kill Rayden.
In MKDs intro though, it seemed like Rayden could take Tsung. Who knows?

Like he ^^^ said, Baraka would be the first to die.
As for Raiden and Shang, didn't the intro to MK: Deception prove that already? Shang needed Quan Chi's help to defeat Raiden on their own turf. He even needed a recharge from the soul-nado in order for the Deadly Alliance to win. If its a 'fair' fight it would be Raiden who would win hands down, unfortunately Shang rarely fights fair. So it would depend on the situation.

Raiden would win. Baraka is too primitive to defeat a master of strategy like Shang Tsung, and Raiden could easily destroy Baraka without having to outthink the savage. Shang Tsung is powerful but he still got his ass kicked even with Quan Chi to back him up. Without Chi's Help Raiden would have beaten Shang Tsung. Raiden takes it.

Yeah, it's all about the whole Tarkatan tradition or whatever. *shrugs*

Raiden...especially considering how he handled Shang and Quan Chi in MKD in the intro.

Shang Tsung of course! He could turn into sub-zero and freeze them, and then change into scorpion and melt them into blood puddles.

I'd have to cast my vote for Shang Tsung.
Baraka wouldn't last two minutes against either of them, but he might be important in the fight.
As people've brought up, Tsung doesn't fight fair; he may well strike an alliance with Baraka at the start of the fight, and Baraka could be a distraction.
Now, in the introduction to Mortal Kombat: Deception, it's true Raiden seems pretty strong against the two of them, but Tsung never morphs in that fight, and none of his non-sorcerous attacks are used. He did kill Liu Kang in a hand to hand battle; I have no doubt he could take Raiden, too. Not to mention his ability to, well, morph into anyway at all, meaning whatever Raiden's weakness is, Tsung has access to it.

They all hve There strengths and weaknesses. Raiden is a god so he would hve the lightning but he has nothing sharp and pointy to stap people with. But the lightning is still good.Barakas got his blades but no really special powers except for the flying shard. But Shang Tsung has all of those moves. If he can morf he can do all of those. His weakness is himself. I would have to go with Shang Tsung.
