I think the best mk ever would consist of...

All of the Mk characters

All of the maps

All endurance, team, and tournament modes

Same 2d "linear" gameplay

3d graphics instead of 2d (maybe)

The option of playing the game Umk 3 style (running+combos) or Mk 2 style (which I prefer)

What do you guys think?

There's a Genesis hack of UMK3 in the works that's fitting your criteria. Look around for it some.

Hey I checked it out, and it looks good. But I'm not sure if it's the latest version. Could you email me the correct links? I'd really appreciate it. Oh yeah... the one that Chrome's producing "The Deathly Alliance" looks pretty promising. Dunno when/if it will be accomplished, hopefully it will be.
