I think both portraits are Daniel Pesina, if one was somebody else, that person would have been credited surely. I've always wondered about this myself, especially with Johnny Cage being the only MK2 character to have two portraits like that. The one without the glasses, is only in home versions to my knowledge.

Off topic, but I always kinda liked that jacket Johnny wore in one portrait. I think they should bring it back for a 2nd outfit in future.

In the arcade version of MK 2, Johnny Cage has two portraits. One in attract mode and one in VS mode. :)
