adaptator dreamcast/psx

Hi everyone

I have bought a second hand dreamcast (very cheap fortunately) to play mortal kombat gold, which was the very only mk I never have touched until now. However, the dreamcast pad is badly thought, definitely not convenient to play, so I just wanted to know if your guys know where I can find an DC adaptator to play with a psx controller ? (if such an adaptator exist...)

Never heard of such an adapter.

The only thing I know of is that the older controllers have a cross d-pad close to the ps2, while the newer controllers have the crappy circular d-pad.

Seems to be what you need.

Personally i quite like the Dreamcast controller. I think it's just as good, if not better than the Xbox Controller S. (never been a fan of the PS pad, and haven't really played with the 360 much yet)

It's only real problem is that its only has 6 buttons and 1 analog control, otherwise a nice and responsive pad.

Tons of PSX -> DC convertors were out there back when the DC was around.

Unfortunately my answer to questions like this has always been "Check out Lik-Sang.com" but now that Sony has run them out of business, I guess check out ebay. There definately were a lot of these things back in the day. There must be some still around somewhere.
