Adema video/music use in MK: D A

How many times have you watched the Adeam video and what is your opinion on how they were used in MK D A?

Since I got 2 days before launch I have watched it 4 times . it was cool to see MK charerters in a music video ^_^ ***scorpion***

I am not really a rock fan( I am into old school punk rock and old school rap fan), I thought the song was good/ok ,but not anything super great. It had a agressive feel to it, I guess. I feel that the MK team could have used the music better since it was the "main song" for this MK. The MK team didn't put the adema music into one level and that was a waste. They should have put the music into at least the final fight to get hyped up or something. If the MK team does use another band for the"main song" for MK6 I hope they use the bands music alot more since Midway does pay the band money for allowing there song to be put a cool game. I think that the lyrics were the best out there at the time. Without a doubt this song was the best theme song they could've had. However, it doesn't sound AS good as it should, but I think It's fine. I think that it was done by a good/ok group, and one that in my opinion has alot of potential. However, in some points in the song it does really start to blow. I would rate it a 7.5/10.

i thought the video kicked a@$. i've seen it many times and the more i watch it the more i like it. it fits the MKDA mood perfectly and it just makes me want to play the game more and more.

I watched it once, and just because I thought, k it's in the game so I'm just gonna watch it... That music annoys me very much, so I just watched it once

The song is incredibly stupid, not suprising since it's Adema we're talking about. The video isn't too bad though I guess.

I thought it was cheesy. The signer of that band looked like a retard.

I did like the CG backgrouds and FMV intro parts, though.

i think mk6 needs some metal for its official song(if it has one)

what ever type of music adema plays is bad

i think the term for them would be "nu-punk"

Actually, the term best used to describe Adema is "sucky rock band that can only play power chords and could never do a guitar lead for the life of them or their band." grin

they are like all the new bands that suck

slipnock,adema,good charollote

good bands are iron maiden,metallica,slayer,dream theater,overkill,megadeth,black sabbath,motorhead,Dio ect ect ect

First off, yes, power chords are important in heavy rock but they are simplistic. Anybody can play powerchords, hell, you could teach a four year old how to play powerchords. That's why I hate most rock nowadays. There's no skill. Just dumb, simplisitic powerchords. Nobody tries doing complicated guitar leads anymore, there's no skill. That's why I don't like Adema.

Listen, do yourself a favor and forget Adema. Pick up a Soundgarden cd or some old school Suicidal Tendencies cd's like "Lights, Camera, Revolution".

Metal?? eewk I don't like that music sorry... If the next song is in some way like this one in DA, or metal or something like that, i won't listen it, I'll ignore it as I ignored MK:DA's.. And I just hope they don't put it as a background theme for an arena.
It would be nice if you had the chance to change the music for the arenas.. something like KI or something like that...

Actually, I think Techno would kick ass. Why would it suck when the original theme (and most of the music of Mk the movies) are techno? and they are all excelent! The main one is AWESOME!!!!

Back to the topic, I think it was Ok. Im not a fan of rock...only Evanescece its the true rock band I have ever heard. I never liked rock till I heard the style of Evanescence.

I agree with the earlier post about evanessence being the only true rock band, everyone in rock all sounds the same to me, kinda boring, I like hip hop

I have to agree that the techno music music from MK 1 the movie kicked as*. I don't like most techno music but the music in MK1 the movie was great. Heck the whole MK1 soundtrack was great and I don't even listen too that type of music. I hope the MK team gets a band from the MK1 sound track or use the MK movie sound track.
MK1 soundtrack= heavy metal, techno= good MK music

Yeah, thats why I was very surprised to find my self liking rock when I first heard "Bring Me to life", Evanescence is just very unique, I love the angelical dark style it has.

Anyway, Like Frost4583 (I think thats the name) said, the Mk1 techno music kicks ass! I really like Techno, and it would be awesome to actually have the original soundtrack of the movie in the game.

yeah I loved the techno themes for both movies!!!! It makes you like "feel" the action of the movie, or the game...
Do you remember Killer Instinct's (1 and 2) techno themes? It did contribute with the game's action. I rather listen that kind of tunes that the one of the Acid Bath (MK:DA) arena... which is extremely slow for a fighting game.. makes me wanna sleep instead of fight
