I like playing as him too. Love his weapon, even tho (like you said) its the same as Kano's. But I don't hate him or anything.

I think many people dislike Hsu Hao because he, at first sight, is not your instant classic MK warrior. He is more reminiscent of warriors in other fighting games than a warrior in an MK game in several aspects (like BRC).

Also I think many people are annoyed by his cheeziness (as with Scorpion). Hsu Hao packs a lot of punch and is easy to handle. Once you've discovered the joys of his throw a world of pain opens for your adversary. Although his Cyrus Stomp is worthless, most other moves he has are short and powerful or have at least some use.

In the end though he may lack finesse and variety to keep competing with the big guys.

However, to return to you original topic: yes, I also like Hsu Hao although I highly doubt he'll be in the next Mortal Kombat.

I like the fact that they tried to put a different kind of character in an MK game. (in other words, I'm talking about him being Mongolian). However, his storyline didn't really provide much of a future for him. It was really more of a "one time only" thing because of the way Jax's ending was. I doubt that he will return and to be honest, I don't want him to return.

I like Hsu Hao as well... He is a good fighter... But his basic moves, like punches and kicks, I don't really like the way they look when he does them... But they are still powerful... He is a good character.

he is the big strong guy in my team of 5 warriors(the 5 that i use to fight my brother's 5)

i always use hsu hao before i use shang tsung..that way he uses scorpion and the next match is a guranteed victory for me because scorpion is his strongest fighter

I love doing Hsu Hao's backbreaker move in his Wrestling style. If I encounter an opponent thats gonna be hard to beat, I try to do the backbreaker as much as I can... Or just use his weapons and slash the hell out of them.. As long as I can avoid their blocks.

Exactly what he said. Hsu Hao is an exelent character, very powerfull styles and good fatality...BUT, from the moment I saw him, I just KNEW he was going to be like, a secondary character, that he was going to end dying.

Just what Sub-Zero_7th wrote, he was there to make Mavados character more powerfull...and end there to. One time only, thats it. I will be VERY surprise if he actually comes back in mk6.

I think Jax hating Hsu Hao is probably some sort of "muscular guy hating another muscular guy" thing.

I truly agree with you. Hsu Hao is an excellant warrior in MKDA. In fact, he often kicks my ass everytime I run into him usually. However, for that fact alone though, that makes me dislike him, but he makes a great person in the game to beat up and kill off right?

hi man.i think that hsu hao is a best fighter.
his weapons are great-just like cano.
but sonya blade and Jax are great.
Sonya have the 3 best styles and Jax is very powerful. /_| /_| L1 0 0 L1 0 0 and game over

I'm a BIG fan of Hsu Hao.My brother and I we bought MKDA together.I have unlocked Hsu Hao myself and i'm very happy to play with.I was unable to choose a character of my taste before and later,it was him! :) When i saw him for the fisrt time,i was thinking than he was a policeman and probably a friend of Stryker.I like the fact than he's evil and tought and I like his clothes,I like his hat sooo much,his weapons,his style....oh well,i could say longer about him! ^_^;
