Hey Konqrr, do you use that xgaming.com one for GC MKDA? Is it compatable, and can you set it to the d-pad? Can anyone else confirm that it works with MKDA?

The Gamecube version of MKDA has a horrible problem with not being compatible with 3rd party controllers you know.

I also found these, don’t know if they work tho.

pros: Joystick, excellent button layout
cons: you might not be able to set the d-pad to the joystick, you may prefer d-pads

buy here:
http://www.the-console-corner.com/g3_gamecube_arcade_stick.htm

pros: you could fit the stance change button on the face on the z button, bigger d-pad, shallow triggers
cons: still the funky gamecube button layout

buy here:

category=75&products;_id=2467&

pros: better button layout, bigger d-pad, better d-pad position
cons: deep triggers

buy here:

Forget about PS2 controller converters, you get error messages every 5 minutes, they don't work. And you also get have the same problem with about 1/2 of the 3rd party controllers out there, so the above controllers might not even work.

If you have any of these three controllers I mentioned, please tell me if they give you an error message or if they work at all. I'm desperate for new GC controller that is more MKDA friendly.

Aside from the cost...the X-Arcade stick rules all. I use mine for my PC, PlayStation, and DreamCast.
